Was Barack Obama's fictional "Julia" [dependent on the government from cradle to grave] a slap in the face to women with ambition able to do for themselves?

Definitely ..

Don't worry ladies, the chivalrous Barack Hussein Obama will take care of everything for you. You won't have to worry about food, work, pregnancy, childbearing/rearing, taking care of your body, etc. He'll make sure none of those pesky everyday problems are your personal responsibility or even completely within your control to decide upon. He'll make sure some government bureaucrat takes care of every important personal decision about your life even though you're nothing to them but a social security number.

At least until the government is forced to completely shut down due to fiscal insolvency around 2050, at which point those things will be the least of your concerns, and you'll have to worry about being robbed, raped, and murdered by repressed sociopaths during the period of widespread panic and anomie (see: every anarchist horror story and post-apocalyptic movie ever written/made and targeted at adults).

Sure looks that way--not like a John Kennedy idea of "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country" Obama says keep asking more of your government because we are the suppliers of all things!

If you have a little girl, teach her to be confident and powerful. Depending on the government for your destiny weakens women and men.

YES. And the Dimwits are continually saying it is the Republicans who are staging a "wr on women"...what a complete joke the Dimwits are. Women are a LOT smarter than to fall for Obama's BS.

He thinks he is Gods gift to women and with our tax payers loot. He is the one waging war on women. I hope that they realize it in time to save America from his and the left wings bankruptcy of America.
