His party affiliation was with the National Socialist German workers Party. During his reign as Reich Chancellor and as Furher he set into motion many programs that centralized government, redistributed wealth, nationalized banks and industry, regulated pay, controlled media, controlled firearms, youth indoctrination programs and had cabinet members who were concidered "radicals" by many. Sound familiar? Definitely left wing!
German citizens did get a fair part of the pie ,do some research on the Strength Through Joy Program. This program was for the most part in full swing until the war started going badly for Germany. Also you could read Mein Kampf if you would like to find even more socialistic views.
Rallied the masses with lies. Not much about Nazi Germay had anything to do with socialism.Who he supported shows what wing he was.Total government to support business.WTF this sounds like america today!lol
I don't know with who you spoke about Hitler before but at least I got detailed knowledge about Hitler and Nationalsozialismus in school..and yeah, naturally as a German I'm interested in such an important part of the German history and therefore I have knowledge. You say that you're German, too...so did you grow up in Germany?
yep, I think we have talked but I can't remember about what.
and well, I grew up in Germany...maybe that's the reason why I see the German history with different eyes than you do.
and I have no clue what you want to ask me with your last question...what government are you talking about? could you explain please?
i think we talked about germany..... and hitler.... haha!! uh.. i meant that hitler's germany favored big and controlled-ative govt and how that suffices the general construct of the right winged values.
did you think about the fact that "right winged values" differ from country to country? Here, take a look at the history of right-wing politics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
*and here a link to an article about an official project against "right wing extremism"...could it be any more obvious?

i realize that through history different names have been applied to the same veiw point. but republican's back then were not liberals. when i say left wing i mean libs. radical libs.
Funny how you're so afraid to dealing with any issuses at hand instead of correcting my mistakes all the time now! What a damn waste of time and lack of any view points on your part-that is If you had view points to begin with!
there is nothing to discuss coz this is not a matter of a point of view but a matter of facts...and since you didn't say anything at all that could have some relevance for the facts, I really don't know why I should get to a topic that you obviously don't have any clue about.
I think it's you who should look for the truth...no socialist propaganda in German schools but it seems like a lot nonsense in American schools...don't you people learn anything clever over there?
does it ring any bells that it was just the name? not every name includes the ideas...they btw thought of themselves as right-wing party and the socialist parties were for a while forbidden under Hitler, members got arrested and killed. "national socialism" is completely different from "socialism" and it's really not my prob that you don't know enough about it....go and actually read sth about the German history instead of throwing names around without knowing the facts behind them.
So now Socialism isn't really socialism any more? I don't know of any Conservatives Christians that would back any form of socialism mayself! Maybe you can find the ones I can"t?
I really don't know why you think that Hitler would have wanted any socialism...go and read sth, I'm not going to write his complete ideas down for you
yes I am...but I don't see why I have to be the teacher for adult people that should know already everything about it....go and educate yourself...and while doing so, also keep an eye on your spelling and grammar skills, also they need improvement
A fact that cannot be denied.
im german as well....
and nationality has nothing to do with knowledge.
and no i did not grow up in germany.
and what about big gov't is right winged?
and well, I grew up in Germany...maybe that's the reason why I see the German history with different eyes than you do.
