Wanting to be ONE With the Tiger (a leap too far)

Now like so many other parents ..
a day at the ZOO with my children was a pleasant treat
(they loved the animals .. the lions, the TIGERS .. the bears, oh, my!)
But this 25 year old male ..
someone who is a Real Estate Agent too
(and Real Estate Agents are licensed .. they also have continuing education to complete and other requirements as well)
David Villalobos leaped off the elevated train (Above the Tiger Exhibit)
into the Tiger Den itself ..
he talks about how he landed down there in the Exhibit ..
(on all fours .. )
and about how the TIGER attacked him
(thankfully .. only one tiger was on exhibit at the time)
(gee .. I'm sure the Tiger was not expecting stupid human to jump into his home area either)
so yes, not surprisingly ..
the tiger did attack Villalobos ..
Villalobos did get some serious injuries
(before being rescued)
NOW .. let's get to the bit of .. well .. oddity ..
Villalobos explains he did this 'leap' .. because
"he wanted to be one with the tiger."
(and his wish .. good grief .. he WANTED to 'pet' a tiger .. )
YES .. Villalobos actually ADMITTED he did this voluntarily ..
Now let's admit .. when people decide on their course of action ..
when they take their own lives into their own hands ..
not much can be done to prevent any antics ..
we can only try to rescue them after the antic happens ...
(we can't prevent 'stupidity' .. idiotic decisions .. odd antics .. )
In this case .. the tiger did what a tiger does .. its range was invaded and yes, he paid a price for his choice to jump off the ride ..
and now .. it looks like he'll be facing charges for his antic ..

Hey, how about doing some high rock climbing ...without any safety gear? Good idea!
Oh looky...there's massive killer tornado! ...Let's get as close as we can to it!
Makes me wonder, did his father use to tell him: "Boy, you'll never amount to sh**!" (But to his credit . . . he almost did!)
I guess the Tiger thought he was a fool also.
Still sad. I think my newspaper said he was mentally ill. Not sure if that was an error. Prayer sent for his recovery.
