Wall Street is still giving to President Obama. Is the W.H. hypocritical for accepting campaign money from WS 'fat cats'?

Unfortunately it costs way too much money to run for office and one needs to get it where he can. Some day this country will insist upon voter owned elections.
  • safari 2012/07/10 21:04:11
What is even more hypocritical is how he and the left in general go after Romney for having wealth and having wealthy donors AS IF HE AND MOST OF THE LEFTY ELITE DON'T!

Only idiots fall for this ploy.
  • Marek 2012/07/08 18:13:10
Hypocritical? YES, defintely. Also smart, that is where the money is.
Obama and Wall Street banksters are in this sham together but the obamatons from OWS have no clue what the game is. They are simply useful idiots to get obama reelected. Serves them right for being stupid.
  • ConLibFraud 2012/07/05 01:11:35

The CFR wins every election because the CFR corporations such as Wall Street as well as other CFR corporations, back both canidates as they back bothsides of most wars and get rich at other peoples and countries expense.

Isn't that why most people say we have the best government that money can buy?

It sure paid off last time, Obama served Wall Street instead of Main Street! Thats how the shell game is played the CFR members use your tax dollars to enrich themselves and enslave Americans to their dept and go back to the casino and gamble some more while the American taxpayer pays the bills.

Is there ANYONE who can tell me when the Zer0-bama White House ISN'T being hypocritical????
  • Walt 2012/07/03 20:57:57
It would surprise me if any campaign turned down funding from just about any source. What's stupid is any Wall Street firm sending contributions to 0-boo-boo. It's self-destructive.

    obama hi haters

  • Marek aherbert 2012/07/08 18:29:56
    Yeah, he is awesome.
He killed bin Laden while playing golf. He is a superman.

Toppled Qaddafi to install Muslim Brotherhood and AlQaeda in power in libya. Muslims there now killing black people muslims and christians alike to eradicate black skin from Arab land.

Don't forget Egypt where he installed Muslim Brotherhood by forcing Mubarak out and now muslims propose to destroy piramids as unislamic expressions of idol worship just like Taliban did with Bahmyan Buddha statues.

He is so gifted that he controlls hurricanes and floods sending them to areas populated by whites and away from New Orleans and other places with black people.

He prevented 2nd great depression by spending trillions of dollars to double the unemployment, food prices and other necessities and becoming famous for being the food stamp president.

He can keep his donuts take them and go back to Chicago or Honolulu or Kenya or Indonesia and eat them.

    obama hi hater

Spare me your tea bagger rhetoric ... you people say the same bs over and over thinking that if you repeat yourself enough someone might believe what you are saying ... hey it is not going to work ... prepare yourself to say President Obama as he will win and rule the free world for the next four years ... simply because the man with the magic underwear is not worthy .... try again ...
  • Marek aherbert 2012/07/10 05:05:24
Interesting that you should know his underwear. Have you been that close to it?
The man is unworthy because he is incompetent, no other reasons.
  • aherbert Marek 2012/07/10 05:21:51
I agree Romney is not worthy .... and he will never have a day as the leader of the free world ...
  • Marek aherbert 2012/07/10 07:37:14
Make up your mind was that Romney's underwear you have been checking out or obama's.

Doesn't make it right by any means. Wall street is buying it's president...again. they've been doing this since 1980, and they'll continue to do it, whenther the president is Romney or Obama. Wake up, people! We need to get money out of politics now! That means overturning Citizens United and making lobbying illegal.

Whatever it takes to win, man.
The Wallstreet "Fat Cats" are just plain stupid to continue to give to such an anti-business president.
  • Warren ... cmdrbnd007 2012/07/03 16:40:55
    Warren - Novus Ordo Seclorum
So bailing out Wall Street and preventing a second Great Depression is anti-business? How many more trillions of the tax payer dollars should he have lavished upon the banks before he can claim the pro-business mantle?

Those fat cats aren't as dumb as you think.

    Warren - Novus Ordo Seclorum
Money is how the game is played. You can sit on the sidelines and complain, but if you want to play the game money is the only way to win.

This is why our political system is broken and needs to be thrown in the trash heap. But until then...
  • beavith1 2012/07/03 14:13:42
he's put a political gun to their heads to extort that money. hypocritical? no. he's taking advantage of the threats that he's implied.
  • Warren ... beavith1 2012/07/03 15:28:33
    Warren - Novus Ordo Seclorum
That makes absolutely no sense. Wall Street has the money, if anything they are holding the gun to Obama's head to extort the policy they demand.
  • beavith1 Warren ... 2012/07/03 16:32:35
    hello? Dodd Frank?

the 'money' on Wall Street knows that if they donate to the republicans, and guess wrong, there would be consequences.

    its a hostage situation.
  • Warren ... beavith1 2012/07/03 16:37:56
    Warren - Novus Ordo Seclorum
No, the hostage is America. Wall Street is the kidnapper. Obama is the pawn.

As long as Geithner is Sec. Treas., Obama is visibly in tight with WS, so no hypocrisy.
  • Marek jubil8 ... 2012/07/11 20:15:57
So, what does that say about the obamatons from OWS? Nothing flatterring.

So what? The question is about hypocrisy, and that's the question I answered. If you want to talk about obamatons or flattery, ask another question.
  • Marek jubil8 ... 2012/07/11 21:31:34
Simple, pay attention, the question was about hypocrisy of obama and what is more hypocritical than him telling the OWS useful idiots, to occupy Wall Street and then taking money from the Wall Street banksters. If the obamatons don't realize that they are played like a fiddle it only shows their naivette and plain stupidity.

"As long as Geithner is Sec. Treas., Obama is visibly in tight with WS, so no hypocrisy."

If "useful idiots" choose to be played, it shows THEIR failings -- it doesn't make the player a hypocrite.

It IS simple -- but you're the one who didn't pay attention. The question is about Obama, not Obama supporters.
  • Marek jubil8 ... 2012/07/12 03:47:35
Nice try at misdirection. It is about obama being a hypocrite and his supporters from OWS being ignorant fools since they let themselves be played and are not even aware of it.

You have gone from not paying attention to flat out WRONG. OWS isn't mentioned in the question or in the WJS article. You are the person trying -- unsuccessfully -- to drag OWS in.

If you have reading or comprehension problems with the English language, get help for them.

Done here -- wallow in your misperceptions alone.
  • Marek jubil8 ... 2012/07/12 12:51:11 (edited)
Mentioned or not. OWS is attacking Wall Street thus they are part of the equation. Just because something is not mentioned does not mean it doesn't exist. Wall Street, 0bama and OWS are tied together, there is no separating them.
Wall Street is simply attempting to pay 0bama in the hopes that he will call off the OWS dogs away from their front yards.
This the only rational reason why they should keep giving him money.

That's too silly to pay any attention to.
