Wal-Mart has always been known for it's lower prices, in most cases only by a penny or two. Many small businesses have went "out of business" because of over bearing chains like Wal-Mart.
BUT NOW.... Wal-Mart is FULLY Supporting Obamas Health Care Take Over....
And also during Obamas run for President, Wal-Mart donated a butt load of money to the Obama Campaign.
Although I never was a fan of Wal-Mart to start with... this confirms my suspicions.
Lower Prices aren't Always worth it in the end.

It's cheaper to pay the penalty for not offering insurance than it is to offer insurance. Those of you who still think you'll be able to keep your current insurance, think again. This health care plan will kill the competition and force everyone into government run care...why else would Wal-Mart be on board? Really?View thread

~Bill Clinton on China~
Spur reforms via PNTR and China in WTO
After 13 years of negotiations, the Administration concluded a landmark agreement for China’s entry into the World Trade Organization. China agreed to grant the U.S. significant new access to its rapidly growing market of over one billion people, while we have agreed simply to maintain the market access policies we already apply to China by granting it permanent Normal Trade Relations. The U.S.-China agreement slashes Chinese tariffs on American goods; opens China’s markets to American services, and contains safeguards against unfair trading practices. China’s membership in the WTO will spur economic reforms in China, open China to information and ideas from around the world, and strengthen the rule of law in China.
The Administration [also] secured commitments from Asian Pacific nations to eliminate barriers to open trade in the region by 2020 for developing countries and 2010 for industrialized countries. Over the next two years, 15 sectors will be identified for tariff reductions.

Fair trade will liberalize China
Fair trade among free markets does more than simply enrich America; it enriches all partners to each transaction. It raises consumer demand for our products worldwide; encourages investment & growth; lifts people out of poverty & ignorance; increases understanding; and helps dispel long-held hatreds. That’s why we have worked so hard to help build free-market institutions in Eastern Europe, Russia, and the former Soviet republics. That’s why we have supported commercial liberalization in China-the world’s fastest-growing market. Just as democracy helps make the world safe for commerce, commerce helps make the world safe for democracy. It’s a two-way street.
In the coming years, we must continue to negotiate to lower trade barriers and insist that our trade partners play by fair trading rules. As we continue to work to open new markets, we must ensure the protection of our workers & our environment, as well as seek to advance labor and improve environmental conditions in developing countries.

So, don't eeeven go there with me.
They (Wal-Mart) ...hired the person that use to do all the hip advertising for Target...
Wal-Mart didn't stop until they got that person to join them. They hired the person away from Target. They use to have that smiley face thing going on... but then they evolved into a "Wannabe Target look-a-like."
I don't know why... but that really angers me. It just seems crooked of Wal-Mart in my eyes. Since then, especially latley... I have noticed less commercials and the hipness has went way down with Target. I am not "hip or cool" by any means LOL ; ) .... but it makes me want to do something to help them. They(Target) REALLY does give generously to charities, that many people don't realize also.
I'll just say... they've got eachother and leave it at that! ; )
And I know what you mean... sometimes I don't have a choice but to stop in Wal-Mart if i'm on the road. I don't like it either. LOL ; ) Makes me cringe.
But Wal-Mart made selling products "Made In The USA" such a selling point and reason to shop there it just seems a lot of people were duped in a way. They should have stuck to their word.
Meanwhile, small businesses without attornies, lobbyists, and the ability to move their small business overseas are left to go out of business by the one-two punch of big business and fascist government policies not looking out for their best interests. That's a shame, because 70% of all American jobs are the result of small businesses.
I am a big fan of Walmart and their model, and have nothing against big business, but I do not favor Washington D.C. stacking the deck in favor against anyone and picking economic winners and losers.
Plus it's just one more nail in the coffin with the Obamacare agenda.
Shop TARGET!
These are my main stops. lol ; )
Screw Walmart - I don't need them.
