Oh really? Tell me then, what IS the difference? I have yet for this to be made plain. And all that CRAP (RE: Christine/Rest in Peace and other simpletons) that voting for Romney saves your family and your country is laughable. As a sovereign individual, ONLY YOU can save your country and your family. And then only if those that endanger it are no longer capable of doing so. And just who are these dangerous people? Big Government, it matters not whether there are Ds or Rs next to their names. And how do we remove them from this dangerous position? Well, it sure as hell ain't by voting for them!

I am voting for the guy that gets the hell out of the way of MY responsibility to protect MY country and MY family, not the guy pushing one agenda or another that happens to benefit me, in the very short term, at someone else's expense.

In the end, it really doesn't matter who our next president is. Do grown adults really need some well-groomed gangster to protect them?

Paul would have to win the election. How can he do that, without more votes than the other guys?

I voted for RP in my state's caucuses, but knowing that write-in votes are not counted -they are simply discarded- in the general election, I will be going with the presumptive GOP nominee, since I do not want to be nullifying my own vote and in effect be helping 0bama.

    At this point, it's AB0.

Please show me by any stretch of the imagination that Mitt is better than BO?
Can't create jobs, failed as Gov. of Mass miserably, blueprinted Obamacare, alienated Paul supporters with rigged caucus votes and delegate fraud and intimidation. How the heck can you keep a straight face and see him as better? He says the POTUS can declare war without Congressional approval ! Says the Patriot Act and the NDAA are necessary? Seriously? Now, I think BO should be behind bars for treason, but I would never vote for a man that will undoubtedly give us the same results.
Anyone believing he is better by choice than BO is delusional and fooling only themselves.

There is no difference between establishment candidates. They both support illegal foreign wars, increased spending, and overall big government.

I am losing faith in elections. Check, I have no faith in elections. During this entire primary more of our rights have been taken away with more proof that the DRCP is just a criminal organization. I say it's time for We The People to take matters into our own hands starting with a nationwide tax revolt, stop paying all bank loans and implement a national plea for our military to come home and rescue their country and put up a fence around DC and call it the National Penitentiary. Then put all of them (politicians and judges) and their bankers on trial and punish them for treason. And a note to the media ... we have special plans for you!

Since my vote is my voice of support I have an obligation not to put it behind someone I consider to be destructive, unqualified, etc. I'd like to see a real difference and be able to vote for Ron Paul on the Republican ticket, but if Romney is on there, as expected by the establishment, I'll vote for Governor Gary Johnson, on the Libertarian ticket.

Romney created Obamacare before Obama did. How is he going to be better? Whether you vote for meth or crack, you're still going to have a hell of a let down. What we really need is a doctor.

No, a vote for Obama is a vote for Obama. A vote for Romney is a vote for Obama lite. A vote for Paul or Johnson is a vote for conscience. If sheeple do the stupid thing and vote for someone they don't really want, they'll DESERVE what they get.

We can all personally research for ourselves what's going on, and put the Media in its place... near the bottom of the truth-tellers' list.

Media doesn't pick the candidate. They tell you who to pick and you choose to listen or not. Take responsibility.

It's not that he personally is not "taking responsibility." He is making the observation that there are a hell of a lot of f*cking knuckleheads in the population too lazy and too stupid to do anything but watch tv and be influenced by it instead of researching the issues themselves.
  • historian Walt 2012/07/03 18:57:02

I think you're giving him more credit than he's due. He is also posting "anyone but Obama", a chicken has more of a chance to be elected than Ron Paul, a vote for anyone other than Romney is a vote for Obama, etc. He's speaking the exact talking points expressed by the media and political establishment of the fake, "two-party" system that takes turns running this country into the ground.
  • Always ... historian 2012/07/03 20:03:32
    Always Right
My recommendation to all is, vote for your choice, then live with the results! Adding a weak third party or fourth party candidate in to the mix will not fix the fake "two party" system. It will take a large grass roots movement to change the system!
