They have been taught to use it as much as possible. It is kind of similar to posing the question, "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" There is no correct response. The same thing is the case when they call you a racist. If you deny it, they claim you are lying because you are afraid to admit you are racist, if you agree, then you prove their point.

It's a given that Obama is only the president because of his skin color. And that his admission to Harvard was based on Affirmative Action. And that he is a racist (as confirmed in both of his books). Why do Democrats use the race card? Because it's all they've got to defend Obama's utter failure for the last four years in office.

Some people in the right wing always screams race card to cover their racism. They think that if they use that term it will shut people up, and they can go on ranting. Now I do believe it is a minority of the right wing that are racist, but the ones that are use the that term hoping to shut anybody up that points out their racism!!!

The problem is that a lot of people on the left have thrown around the term so much that it has lost any real meaning and, as a result, when someone is truly racist, attempting to call them out has no affect. The left and left in the media that used that tactic during the '08 election and continue to ues it are the ones to blame because they have cried "racist" so often that people are tired of hearing it when no proof is provided.

Some people disagree with the President's policies and/or his actions. Big shocker there! There have and always will be people that disagree with every president's policies and actions. Race has nothing to do with it. Crying racisism everytime someone disagrees with him has turned off a lot of people and made the term meaningless to most people.

Obama, the candiate, didn't run on his race in '08. A major problem is that he allowed and even encouraged his team and supporters to campaign against McCain based on his race. He encouraged them by not addressing it and stating that it should stop. When he took it off the table for himself, he should have been the kind of leader that took it off the table for his supporters. Then, when someone was truly being racist they could be seen for what they were.

read his book and then go back and listen to Obama's speeches ALL of them ! the man is nothing but a baby crying racist all the dam time- (beer summit - uncle Rev. Wright etc etc )

Funny, I laugh when people that cannot argue their point or cannot defend Obama's actions or policies shout "racism". I think people that run around shouting "racist" in political debates without any real proof are probably pedophiles trying to distract others from themselves.

Let me see if I have this right. You see the color of Obama's skin first then see him as President, therefore, if anyone disagrees with him or his policies, you see them attacking a black man and therefore must "call out racism"?

First, it sounds like you need to find some new people to hang around. Just a suggestion.

Second, I am not about to say that there is no racism still around. People of any color can be racists. There is racism towards the President as well as from him and his administration (look to the DOJ for proof). I do think that Obama pissed away a great opportunity to unite not only our politicians on areas that everyone could agree but also the country as a whole as the leader of the country. Instead, I have seen him be very divisive, even on issues he didn't need to be. He has used class warfare, politics, political games, and race to divide the country far more often than not.

If you, or anyone, wants to claim that an attack of Obama or his policies is based on racism, AND you have proof of that, then by all means, call it out. If you have real proof, even I would back you up regardless of my opinion of his job performance. Overall, the people that have claimed racism in defense of Obama never offer any proof (probably because they don't have any to offer). They are no better than those "journalist" that started the "call them racists, even if it is not true" crap in '08. They just want to change the subject and not address the issue(s) the other person is attempting to discuss. That, or they can't defend Obama's record and have nothing else but desperation; at least that is what it appears to be.
