Virgin America launched its in-flight voter registration drive with Rock the Vote on a flight between San Francisco, CA and Washington, D.C. Nobody should wonder which party affiliation Virgin America and Rock the Vote expect to sign up... Do you think it's a gimmick -- or is it democratic?

BUZZFEED.COM reports:
Virgin America Enables In-Flight Voter Registration: Romney and Obama impersonators come along for the ride...

Nice going, Richard Branson! because they have such crappy candidates and unspeakable positions [literally, in romney's case] the righties want to suppress the vote, and you are stepping up to help thwart their un-American intentions. I wish there were more rich guys with a conscience that doesn't end at the tip of their nose.

Well technically both. But surely the more that turn up, the better.

I've just noticed that it's $5 to do it. You guys have to pay to vote?

It is a gimmick but if it works and is convenient for some to register.... okay by me.

Typical liberal stunt. Rock the Vote is so Demunist. You have to hand it those Commies; just when you think they've tried everything to hold onto power, out comes another stinker of an idea.

The owner is a leftist, not a Commie as far as I know; I have no idea about his employees.

He isn't really. He was a big supporter of the conservative party for a while. He was given an award by Margaret Thatcher.

it's 2012, not 1952, and you're sitting around calling people you disagree with "Communists"? mitt romney and his little offshoring pals have done a lot of business with the People's Republic of China, a Communist country the last time I heard; can you explain this puzzling discrepancy? is mittens a lousy commie, on top of being a lousy candidate?

You misread, I DIDN'T say the owner of Virgin was a Commie, only left leaning. The other was another comment completely. BTW-What POTUS hasn't done business with China, since you mentioned it? THEY ALL HAVE.

Probably means that Virgin America is pro Democrud (the party of spurious registrations--such as dead, pets, ...--and the party against voter-ID).

Then that person is an idiot!
What would any half brain person knowing this, would not take care of this before being in this situation?

Get on a plane days before knowing they are out of their voting area and do not do something about it. To stupid to vote in my opinion.

Sounds like a stupid Democrat thinking that everything is suppose to be set-up for their incompetent stupid ass.

Get a real intelligent life !

Why did you need to insult me? This isn't even about politics and the point I was making wasn't political at all. What if someone needed to travel for business on election day?

"To stupid to vote in my opinion."

lol you're 67 and I am only 23. I have known the difference between to/too/two for well over a decade now. Despite having lived almost 3 times as long, you still fail to grasp this incredibly simple grammatical rule and you demonstrate this in the exact same sentence as calling someone else stupid. If English is not your first language this may be excusable, otherwise it is just sad.

Dear grammar suave little boy, To>Too well taken, it is a common grammar mistake.

"Too stupid to vote” still standing for my thoughts, and it wasn't about you even though you brought it up and were insulted by my reply.

I have traveled for over 40 years and have always made voting appropriations when I knew I would be gone. No one really leaves town on important voting days except for dire emergencies, even then they vote very early in the morning before leaving.

    Yes, it is about politics.
Democrats want ever voting enhancement they can get including the illegal ones.

you did it again! the word is "every", not "ever." if someone as stupid as you has the right to vote [and I would defend your right to do so], so should everyone else.

The extent of your intelligent, right?

The real rub here is not grammar, but your irritation about my post with stupid people needing some crutch to vote, like liberals need do. No?
  • bryguy OneLast... 2012/08/17 00:57:45
    bryguy
Nope, if you want to know the "real rub" just read my post where I was actually replying to you. More informed people voting=better/stronger democracy. It's that simple and has nothing to do with laziness, liberals, or party lines at all. People who make every question and every issue about parties are really annoying.

My whole post is about the Democratic voter fraud that happened in 2008 with ACORN and the Black Panthers. Obama got away with it because he was the first African American candidate, and after the election Eric Holder, his Attorney General refused to do anything about it. A FACT, but no one was prosecuted or even investigated.

I support making voting as easy as possible, and I don't even care if you're Democrat or Republican. The fact is that the more people that willingly vote on an informed basis the better it is for our country and the stronger it makes our democracy.

As long as they don't cheat as they did in the last election with the Democratic National Convention and the Black Panthers and ACORN.

Erick Holder when confronted with this said on the record, “You’re attacking MY people”.

    1) Will ACORN be denied excess to every inactive and deceased persons S.S. #?

    2) Will the voting polls for people not able to use a computer or have one be policed for fraud?

    3) Who will run these servers and tally the vote being sent to the state?

Computers or IT technology is very suspect until there is much better software for this kind of national process.
