A recent Pew study, reported by the New York Post, revealed a shift in the way we consume news. TV news consumption still outpaces YouTube News consumption. However, a younger demographic is more likely to check out citizen journalism on YouTube of major events and natural disasters rather than seeking out traditional TV news.

The New York Post article goes on to state that, "the study shows YouTube as a global news arena where professional and amateur video bleed together, and is made consumable in on-demand style."

NYPOST.COM reports:
A new study has found that YouTube has become a major platform for news, one where viewers are turning for eyewitness videos in times of major events and natural disasters.

"u find what you want" means what? That you just read what you want and not what is true?

Hillary Clinton admitted that the US government, via the mainstream media, is losing their “information war” with the American public. As alternative media becomes more prevalent, the propaganda must be taken up a notch in order to keep the masses onboard with the agendas of the US government.

Since corporate media doesn't cover a lot or very well, in a truly informative manner as opposed to pundits telling us what to know and how to think about it, I often seek out high quality, purposed blogs.

Challenges of 'citizen' journalism need to be figured out.... Journalistic ethics and accountability? Impact of consumers seeking the most entertaining versus the most informative source. 'AstroTurf' on line activism - you can buy your way into apparent on line 'groundswell'.

Cross-referenced through multiple sources to cut through the crap.

I like newspapers, but when it comes to unbiased news they don't have it.
