Video of the Day: Top NEA Lawyer Admits It’s About “Power,” Not the Children

~ The Rebel ~ 2011/02/24 13:37:31
Related Topics: Convention, Education
This video from the National Education Association’s top lawyer, Bob Chanin, shows how surprisingly open the nation’s leftists are when they no longer have to pose for the cameras and get to speak to one another. Addressing the 2009 NEA Convention, Chanin admits, “It is not because we care about children and it is not because we have a vision of a great public school for every child. NEA and its affiliates are effective advocates because we have power.” The union-led protests across the country are to assure these left-wingers maintain their power and their access to your tax dollars. Watch the admission below.

That was a truly disgusting little speech from Bob. What a weasel!
How about the audience. It reminded me of when that woman said she had stuck it to the white farmer (abused her position) to deny agriculture dept aid to a white farmer because he was white, and the room of NAACP members erupted with cheers and clapping hands. Remember that? This is worse. They don't seem to care about the chirruns at all, except as pawns in their money grubbing chess game.

Let the unions have their negotiations with the politicians but make sure that all contracts are no valid until rectified by public referendum ...the fraud that is going and the collusion needs to end ...reform is necessary to fix this scam making all public sector workers multi-millionaires off the backs of taxpayers...this will restore $2 Trillion annually to the taxpayers and eliminate another $1.5 Trillion in these fraudulent pensions...

It was not he who made the statement! It was the reaction of the listeners (teachers) that made the point relevant! If this does not motivate the grassroots Americans to clamour for school choice, NOTHING will!!!

It is all about the power. Just look out at the crowd of protesters and tell me it has anything to do with children. These rat bastards have to go.
