MCCain filed suit prior to the election to allow delayed military votes to be counted and to force states to send out the ballots 45 days prior to an election even though the military postal service branch recommends 60 days. Why do the progressives want to deny our military the extra time needed to ensure their votes are counted?
When everyone faces the hurdles that the military must jump through to vote, then everyone should have the extension, until then our military is being denied the same treatment and assistance that civilians enjoy.

Whatever happened to the military ballots in 2008 is not the issue here and one has nothing to do with the other. What does denying the same weekend and evening voting which was allowed in 2008 and every other election since then up to the 2012 Presidential election and finding an ID voter fraud solution for a voter ID fraud problem that doesn't exist have to do with military vote ballots not counted on time in 2008?

I've been a voter protection and poll monitor for a dozen years, I work for the integrity of the vote. I've stopped voter fraud by flagging votes as provisional's, no surprise they never come back with the proof.

I'm no Obama, I didn't blame him for 2008, I am blaming him for his failure to follow th law that was passed in 2009 to prevent the military from being disenfranchised.
That's the difference, in the voter ID cases, people "might be" disenfranchised. In reality our military is truly being disenfranchised and we can actually count the number of ballots that have been thrown away!

I have no problem with voter ID laws, per se. My problem is with the short time frame given to get the state issued ID, the obstacles some people face to get it and that it has to be obtained before the presidential election on November 6.
Voter ID law is a solution to a problem which doesn't exist. It is purposely designed to give Republicans the opportunity to steal an election through voter suppression, and voter disenfranchisement that they can win no other way. The Speaker of the House in Ohio has actually said so.
