Verdict?

The jury made their decision. It feels like a kick in the stomach, along with the champagne celebration of the defense attorneys. No one will be held accountable for the death of that precious baby. Extreme depression and bitterness, as Caylee became 'America's baby,' and several morally bankrupt people celebrated the death of a child, with toasts, laughter and cheers. George and Cindy Anthony are left in an a still, untenable position of a shattered family, and I prayed for them before the verdict was read. Perhaps that was the answer to my prayer; sparing the grieving grandparents of a lost grandchild any more grief, as I am very much against the death penalty.

Where is justice? All I can think of, and yes, I am bitter and very angry, is 'hanging chad Florida' and perhaps at a system that ultimately failed, one last time, a precious child, and ALL children are precious. I know that's unfair to the state of Florida, but as I said, I am so very hurt and so very angry and bitter. People seem lazy and want the 'CSI' version which is not available nor reasonable, and, in my personal opinion, that jury, in failing to explain their decision, are cowards. God forgive me, but I don't feel like being fair right now. The retirement of Jeff Ashton is another tragedy.

There will never be justice for that precious child. I pray that God forgives me and my anger, bitterness and my judge mentality of 12 people who seemed to be more eager to go home than to than to grant a small child justice. Caylee, you are safer in God's arms. Forgive us all, sweet baby girl, for failing you.
