US is not an honest pace broker in the Middle East

- The Obama administration repeatedly betrayed the majority against the minority of those who support Israel on international scene.

This has severely damaged US credibility as an honest broker between Palestinians and Israelis. Because the United States is just so incapable of performing its role as such, it is best if stays on the sidelines and... Read full article »

I've often asked myself HOW can the U.S. remain objective during the peace process when U.S. government is practically controlled by AIPAC? It always seems that Israel strikes the Palestinians by either bulldozing Palestinian homes and putting up illegal settlements in their place or by a murderous military strike as the world witnessed back in Dec08/Jan09. What Israel did was nothing short of a massacre. Yet U.S. government will not support the war crimes report becuase there are "flaws" in it.

And never will you hear that the peace process demands that Israel gives back the land that they stole from the Palestinians. Each time, Israel makes the land
grab, the U.S. calls for peace, things settle down for a while and the land is never given back. This process keeps repeating and Israel ends up with all the Land.

Thanks for your insight. With all due respects to followers of Judaism. Sure Jewish people need a homeland but why should they have sort of unending conflicts with Palestinians who are also Semitic or others living in the region?

It is perhaps because the majority of Jewish people have no other choice but to follow their demagogue leaders who portray themselves mostly as guardians of Western democracy and free market values i.e. capitalism, right inside the Middle East.

However, the Israeli clash with the Palestinians seems to be more than just about a homeland or a religious conflict. I think it has; unfortunately, more to do with the fact that Israeli leaders have turned their country into a large military base for performing tasks on behalf of Anglo-Americans and to some extend Europeans.

Of course the most important of those tasks include the controlling of Middle Eastern oil and energy resources.
