There is no way I believe that these unprovoked attacks on embassies were sparked from some sorry, low budget movie that hardly anyone knew about--until this the 9/11 atrocities occurred. The media quickly wants to blame the movie maker(s); why? Movies insulting Jesus, God, Christians, Catholics, Jews, the list goes on. When making movies or sitcoms, no one, no thing is sacred. Why should it be any different now? I believe that the 'Muslim Extremist' are always mad and always looking for a reason to go off.

Of course it was coordinated. Anyone thinking otherwise is an idiot. Or do you believe that all protestors all bring heavy weapons to a demonstration.

I believe it was more a reminder on 9/11 that they can still harm us, not the movie....that was a guise. If anyone looked at those videos they would see how amateurish they are, not even convincing and they've been out on the net for 6 months or more

Freedom of Speech is taken seriously. The price of Freedom is responsibility but even in the face of irresponsibility, the price of Freedom is then tolerance and that requires maturity. For some people and cultures the evolution of Social maturity is still in process, they do not have these Freedoms for the most part..... The maturity is still a struggle in our country.

From what i heard on TV, the creator of the movie said something like: the movie was made according to what i thought about muslims.
We have something to prove to the world and to that punk. We should ignore him 'cuz Allah (swt) knows how to defend his prophets (PBUH).

It is easy to lump it all together but truly we know that the enemy of hate is with the few but it seem like there are so many of them and we don't hear much resistance within and from the "good guys" but then maybe it is dangerous to do so by putting a target on yourself and family. Even in our own muslim country, unfortunately; a huge fraction confuses religion with tradition. And yes, a lot of our tradition is from islam and that's perfectly fine. But there are some things that have no relation to islam at all.

Yes its quite possible. Put yourself in the shoe's of a group who have been wrongfully persecuted for something they had nothing to do with. It might make you do desperate things in order to get some form of justice too. Its all about the shoe on the other foot.

If I see a movie made by someone in another country and I feel it insults me, or my religion; by today's standards, is it socially acceptable for me to just find some random person from that country and kill them for it. Just askin, since it seems that is what the government is saying.
