US Government Finds More Folks to Screw!

Here in paradise, we have many organizations that care for and provide a quality of life for those deemed mentally deficient. Our largest one hereabouts is the Key Training Center.

Now, along with children, veterans and old farts they will be tossed to the dogs. These organizations are supported in part by government grants and rightly so. But it looks like those days are coming to an end. How the (insert copulatory word here) can Americans let this happen? The list of those being ignored by a supposedly benevolent government is growing while (here it comes) the rich get richer.

In an ideal and fair scenario, all would have to bite the bullet somewhat in tough times. But notice that our ruling elite does not suffer at all. Even those that caused the tough times have profited except for a few scapegoats, and they're doing quite well too. Please folks. Please check to see who's getting (insert past tense copulatory word here) in your area! Federal, state and local governments are willing to ignore very unfortunate folks to keep themselves solvent. Write, call, whatever and let them know you're gonna vote their asses out if (feces) like this doesn't stop.

If nothing is done about this, who's next?
You!

We have a large Rehab center near here, and scuttlebutt has it that it may be closing. I wonder where all the patients, many have lived nowhere else in their lives, are going to go.

Jeepers! Sounds like you care. Don't run for office!

I figure government folks don't see that as their problem.

Most of the kids there a children of the wealthy that drop them off and that's the end of their involvement. I provide clothing for many of them, otherwise they would do without. Your child may be institutionalized, but they are still your child.

It's very "American" to send away people that interfere with one's life. That's why places that provide care such as nursing homes are so numerous. Many folks with mental problems are abandoned by their families or have no options after their relatives die. I hope we evolve soon as we are our own worst enemy.

Captain, sad but true. You have to see this sort of thing go on to wonder what people can be thinking or feeling. You hear about this all the time, but when you see it it's emotionally devastating to realize that these unfortunate's parents couldn't be bothered to ever call, write, send a gift or even ensure that their child has the barest necessities for life.
