The Fraser Institute report smacked U.S.A. down from 8th place a decade ago. Big government policies and a trend to more regulations by Washington, D.C. has dropped America out of the top 10.

Maybe they should put real estate back into the inflation index, had that been the case, government might have not lost focus on the bubble which i read as a real appraiser in 2005. Nothing was done to put it in check.
Notice that the ten states with the highest percentage of residents who pay no Federal Income Tax are the ten most southern states, plus Utah and Idaho. Isn't that a hoot?
