U.S.-Citizenship Renunciations Soar Under Obama

doofiegirl POTL~PWCM~JLA 2012/01/26 13:06:18
I wonder why this is not widely known? Could it Possibly be the lamestream media is ignoring it? Nah, it Couldn't be anything like that! This is something that ought to be known!

From the AllGov.com Web site:

Rather than deal with the complexities of U.S. tax law, Americans living overseas are increasingly renouncing their citizenship in order to avoid paying their income taxes.

"Increasingly" is an understatement. In Fiscal Year 2008, George W. Bush's last year, 146 Americans renounced their citizenship to avoid paying U.S. taxes. In FY 2010, that number soared to 1,534, an increase of 950% - and no, that is not a misprint. 950%.

And in just the first two quarters of FY 2011, 1,024 of our fellow citizens decided that they would rather not be Americans than have their wealth confiscated to feed the fires of fairness.

I prefer that he and his Socialists leave instead. They can find another country to screw up. We need people that will stay and fight for the USA.

With the Financial melt down of the entire Capitalist System, just what good was defeating Hitler, or Japan for that matter?

It was all borrowed money. Now I am NOT standing here supporting Hitler, but his War began because of Economic Insult because of the harsh treatment from Versailles. Those were sanctions, and US Politicians don't ever learn from their hideous mistakes, from sanctions to shining sanctions has caused continued misery throughout the world.

Stay and Fight for what? Think they are going to give me the exempt card so I don't have to pay my labor and income to their Crony Military Establishment? I doubt it. And so what about all those human rights issues Hillary keeps babbling about? I am against War, and support Nonviolence, yet you force me to pay my taxes to Politicians who support War and the Military Machine. What about my rights? I was born in America, and after 43 years there finally left. Just can't muster the Hypocrisy Scene.

So I live in China, a country that does not have Military bases all around the world.

And now I have invented an Electricty Machine, that makes clean nonstop electrical power, and just can not set-up my company in the USA. Why??; because the Elite will hijack it, and use it as part of their Corporate Empire to make my employees and myself pay for more Wars and bloodshed from their Military Establishment.

I just can not go along with that. I also will refuse to have it listed or part of the Stock Market, or Wall Street Establishment, for the same reasons.

If I was to have my business start in the USA, I would want Congress and Senate and the Executive Office of the USA, grant me Tax Exemption from paying anything toward involving the US Military Establishment. And to assure that my Private Electric Company can not be listed on the Stock Exchange, or used in The Wall Street Establishment.

This would assure my rights are protected and that my Rights to being NonViolent are assured, and not a hypocrite in the United States of America.

So if you want jobs and clean secure clean energy, and a very successful future, you need to respect my rights. How many more years do I have to wait?

I did not know this, but I'm not surprised by it either. The USA is no longer the best country to live in anymore, unless you're sucking up big on welfare.

Natural born citizens are thinking about leaving the country. It's no surprise that people who came here to realize their dreams are choosing to leave in lieu of watching those same dreams shatter.

My husband is a Permanent Resident and has put off taking citizenship until AFTER the election. He retains his European passport and figures he wants the option to return to Europe if Obama wins. At least he'd know what to expect there (and his native Scotland hopes to go for independence from GB anyway).

I hope that Scotland is able to become independent from England without bloodshed. It has been around 300 years since a Stuart sat on the throne. Queen Anne Stuart

1707 what when the thrones were joined. Of course England does NOT want this to happen because most of the oil wells in what is now "British" waters in the North Sea would become "Scottish." Hopefully there will be no bloodshed as in the past.

Too bad Queen Anne died without any Stuart heirs. It does seem odd to me that the present royal family is descended from Henry VII, and not from James VI/James I.

It can be traced to any number of people, many older than Henry VII, however, it does pass through James VI/I.

I don't have my stuff with me. but one of James' daughters married some German. I cannot remember his name right now. Then there was a marriage into the Hannover dynasty. Reply and I will get my stuff when I get home.

One of Henry VII's daughters also married a German - the Duke of Hanover, I think. Hence the House of Hanover starting with George I, who never did learn to speak English.

It has been a while since I have been here.

    Henry VII had two daughters.
    1. Margaret the older, married into the royal family of Scotland. At least 3 husbands.
    2. Mary, the younger, married Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk.

His father had saved Henry's life at the battle of Bosworth Field and Henry raised him as his own son. It was about the only time Henry did the rght thing when it cost him money. It was her second marriage.
Mary's first marriage was to the King of France, an old man. She had gotten a promise from Henry VIII that she could choose her second husband. So essentially, she danced and screwed the French king to death. Btandon was sent to bring her back home, but she did not trust Henry VIII, who was no king, so she married Brandon before leaving France.

Henry could have executed them both, but Mary was his favorite sister, and Brandon had been like a big brother to him. So he tossed them in the Tower for a few months and forgave them and let them out.
