Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya killed along with three others in a rocket attack outside the American Consulate in Benghazi was "a courageous and exemplary representative of the United States," President Barack Obama said in his initial statement Wednesday condemning the attack.

The future of economic reforms unleashed by Prime Minister Manmohan last week and its impact on the coalition will hold the key for setting the future trend of the market. While the government has strongly defended the reforms, its ability to hold onto its commitment against the onslaught launched by the Trinamool and other parties would be crucial.
"The market was expecting a lot of smaller announcements as a follow-up to last week. But now, with so much uncertainty, things may get a little muted. The government's future is unclear and markets don't like uncertainty," Varun Goel, head of portfolio management services at Karvy, said.
If you would have told me 15 years ago that I would have EVER been rooting for Khadaffi I would have said you were NUTS!! I saw that things would only get worse with this so-called "Arab Spring."
He was the first U.S. ambassador to be killed in the line of duty since 1979. The attackers were a mob and it would have been hard to protect against such an army of angry people. The one who should be held responsible for some of this, is the man who made the movie which provoked it.
We know that the riot had probably been planned to coincide with 9/11, but the movie just made things worse. The Libyan people helped the Ambassador, taking him to a hospital. He made a lot of friends with the people there. It's a shame that someone in America would provoke an attack against our own embassy and fellow Americans, and has caused harm to the progress that's been made in Libya.
Peace & love to the rest of you.
He did this. He replaced the ally leadership and promoted the MB.....poor decision
"Sex-fueled womanizer" I like that, can I use it.
When you have 22 wives, you had better be sex-fueled or their are going to be a lot of deprived women. I am pretty sure that Mo was testosterone fueled though.
Such hate, I will suggest a change of scenery for you. I recommend either the Sudan or Somalia. There will be no Christians, especially no Reverend Jones, and I hear it is nice this time of year. There will be no conservative radio, TV or FOX.
Obama's has been a Islamic terr sympathizer his whole life. I am surprised that it took those guys this long to realize it.
That is what you call an internal power struggle for dominance within the Islamic terrs.
Allah demands more blood sacrifices than the combined gods of Carthage and the Aztecs.
If Obama & Congressional leaders had decided that Kadaffi must go, I would have had no problem approving that course of action. However, when the Islamic Conference grants permission to the UN to take action, then the UN tells NATO what to do. That is not in our interests, especially since most of NATO sat out the military action.
Also, George Soros has major interests in Libyan oil.
If you were President and your staff said, "Mr. Red, We have it on SATELLITE. Qadaffi's tank battalion is en route to Benghazi and we have credible intel that says his troops have been ordered to shoot to kill 'anything that moves'".
Tell me now, Red Branch. Would you sit there on your a$$ and PONDER over what to do -- or would you do WHATEVER it takes to prevent a mass killing - and do it quickly?
You and so many of the SH conservatives have no clue whatsoever.
And this using Soros as a whipping boy for all things liberal is growing a bit stale.
