Urinating Standing Up May Soon Be Illegal in Europe: Approve?

Socialists and feminists in Europe want to force equality by outlawing men from urinating while standing up. The Leftists suggest that forcing uniformity also has medical benefits with cleaner floors without puddles of urine. On the other hand, dirty toilet seats, increase of water usage for flushing and other factors may make "sitting only bathrooms" less healthy for humans and the environment.

It's Sweden, not Europe...and this is almost as crazy as gathering a panel of men to decide what's best for women's health.

And the right wing blog-o-sphere is who added the feminists to the mix. This was introduced by a MAN who notes that besides being a more efficient way to evacuate the bladder, there are health benefits associated with sitting-while-peeing. The act reduces risk for prostate problems and also helps men achieve a longer, healthier sex life.

I think that this is a bit silly--but can't you at least report the truth? ONE MAN--in a Left Party COUNTY level, not national, proposed this.

This is (unsurprisingly) shoddy reporting, at best. But kudos to your Fox "News" hyperbole and out-right lies!

This proposal applies only to office restrooms in one county in Sweden, according to your source. Although it is technically "in Europe," the report is like someone citing an obscure county law in Kansas as applying to the entire United States!

Egads. There is as much or more urine on the female side because the women squat/hover so their tender flesh does not come in contact with the toilet seat. The result is a fetid mess and the seat, the floor, the rim, the walls are splattered and the toilet paper rarely makes it to the inside of the bowl.

Each time I swamp out the women's stalls, each stall has fecal matter soiled toilet paper on the floor. Women are afraid of getting contaminated by stuff they cannot see on toilet seats so they make the toilet seat visibly contaminated. And evidently because they are busy keeping their garments off the soiled floor they let loose in any direction they are facing. That evidently also applies to discarding the soiled paper.

You live a sheltered existence. The public toilet situation is so filthy and has been filthy so for so long that products are now available for sale to women to help them pee with more assurance in those locations. I was able to locate 4 commercial products with one simple entry "women pee while standing". That was just the first 4 hits. I am not selling anything but the names are GoGirl, P-Mate, Pee-Zee, and Snee-Kee. Need is the mother of invention and others have found the need to invent and sell those products.

In most of the older buildings that would mean urinating is completely outlawed. Even in some of the newer buildings the public toilets consist of a porcelain bowl built into the floor. No seat at all.
