Socialists and feminists in Europe want to force equality by outlawing men from urinating while standing up. The Leftists suggest that forcing uniformity also has medical benefits with cleaner floors without puddles of urine. On the other hand, dirty toilet seats, increase of water usage for flushing and other factors may make "sitting only bathrooms" less healthy for humans and the environment.

What do you think? Should laws make it compulsory for men to sit on toilets when they urinate? The Inquisitr reports from Europe:Standing up while urinating may soon be illegal for men in Europe. Male representatives on the Sormland County Council and the Left Party are pushing

It's Sweden, not Europe...and this is almost as crazy as gathering a panel of men to decide what's best for women's health.

And the right wing blog-o-sphere is who added the feminists to the mix. This was introduced by a MAN who notes that besides being a more efficient way to evacuate the bladder, there are health benefits associated with sitting-while-peeing. The act reduces risk for prostate problems and also helps men achieve a longer, healthier sex life.

I think that this is a bit silly--but can't you at least report the truth? ONE MAN--in a Left Party COUNTY level, not national, proposed this.

This is (unsurprisingly) shoddy reporting, at best. But kudos to your Fox "News" hyperbole and out-right lies!

Passing unenforceable laws is ridiculous. Merely makes criminals of half the population and destroys both respect and adherence to other laws.

It will only get worse as they continue to legislate this socialistic/equality mindset.
Just wait until people get the RFID in their hand and try to purchase something at the store that is contrary to their medical condition......it is going to get real crazy on planet earth.

There are any number of stories about upcoming european directives.

I think the newspapers compete to see who can generate debate on the silliest.

I have to say this is the dumbest since the rumour that bananas would need to be straight.

I’m Glad that the word Socialist was mentioned in this blog. If this isn't a nanny state over stepping it's bounds, I don't know what is.
I’m curious as to of how they would like to enforce this. Are they going to hire a regime of broon hldas that are going to follow men into bathrooms?

    But it does say this:
"The Left Party is not at a loss for reasons to outlaw standing while urinating in Europe. UPI reports that supporters also believe sitting while urinating will reduce potential prostate issues and bolster the opportunity for a longer sex life."
I'd like to some evidence of that.
But why not simply tell the chaps to clean up after themselves, I don't allow puddles on my bathroom floor!

We were taught this by our parents that both girls and boys don't splash their urine around. If a girl sits to urinate why can't a man. The direction has to be opposite though because of biological make up.
I have taught my son that and that is what he uses till date. He is six years old. No splashes no extra cleaning and I have a cleaner toilet. He know how to pee in a bottle or a bowl too the same way as I know that long rides on the road means a bottle is needed as its not always safe to stop the vehicle to pee.
Always carry a packet of wipes and clean the toilet seat, its a habit I have too because of my association and life experiences in my field of work.

Why are we fighting about it, for once the men are targeted so they cannot complain about the pants coming down and skirts going up in a toilet. None the less I have trained my son in it and my brother was trained in it by my dad and mum as they knew that a carpeted toilet stinks when urine is splashed around. Even my uncle in the UK supports the sitting and urinating as its clean.

Yep, I know what you mean, they are trained out here from the schools itself. Little boy was in daycare from 19 months too. Its a private thing so just tell him go to the toilet wipe the seat do his job and silently come out. No one gets to see it. Its more about discipline which is acceptable. But can tell you its not customary but just something we have picked up through experience.
