This was introduced by a MAN who notes that besides being a more efficient way to evacuate the bladder, there are health benefits associated with sitting-while-peeing. The act reduces risk for prostate problems and also helps men achieve a longer, healthier sex life.
I think that this is a bit silly--but can't you at least report the truth? ONE MAN--in a Left Party COUNTY level, not national, proposed this.
This is (unsurprisingly) shoddy reporting, at best. But kudos to your Fox "News" hyperbole and out-right lies!

Socialists and feminists in Europe want to force equality by outlawing men from urinating while standing up. The Leftists suggest that forcing uniformity also has medical benefits with cleaner floors without puddles of urine. On the other hand, dirty toilet seats, increase of water usage for flushing and other factors may make "sitting only bathrooms" less healthy for humans and the environment.

As a man, I proudly pee while standing up.
However, I'm guessing that the vast majority of American Conservative men probably wouldn't have a problem with such a decree.
Most Conservative men already sit down when they pee.
After all, they're conservative, and standing up while peeing is just too Liberal.

Whether men take this sitting down remains to be seen.
Take a stand -- and sit down for what you believe in.
Male representatives on the Sormland County Council in Sweden should sit rather than stand while urinating in office restrooms, according to a motion advanced by the local Left Party.
Known as a socialist and feminist organization, the party claims that seated urination is more hygienic for men -- the practice decreases the likelihood of puddles and other unwanted residue forming in the stall -- in addition to being better for a man's health by more effectively emptying one's bladder, The Local reported.
But not everyone agrees.
"Men scatter urine not so much during the actual urination as during the 'shaking off' that follows," John Gamel, a professor at the University of Louisville, wrote while addressing the issue in 2009. "As a result, forcing men to sit while emptying their bladders will serve little purpose, since no man wants to shake himself off while remaining seated on the toilet."
A representative from the party said he hopes to move toward sitting only bathrooms.

I remember traveling in Europe and having a group pee in Italy...where there was a rather large whole in the floor which the men stood around and whizzed away...a little smelly, but you had to stand to use it.
The only advantage to having men sit down is for women...since most men don't put the toilet seat down after they're done, women have to do it for them. If men have to sit, the seat will never come up again.
Lazy men...
