Urinating Standing Up May Soon Be Illegal in Europe: Approve?

Socialists and feminists in Europe want to force equality by outlawing men from urinating while standing up. The Leftists suggest that forcing uniformity also has medical benefits with cleaner floors without puddles of urine. On the other hand, dirty toilet seats, increase of water usage for flushing and other factors may make "sitting only bathrooms" less healthy for humans and the environment.

It's Sweden, not Europe...and this is almost as crazy as gathering a panel of men to decide what's best for women's health.

And the right wing blog-o-sphere is who added the feminists to the mix. This was introduced by a MAN who notes that besides being a more efficient way to evacuate the bladder, there are health benefits associated with sitting-while-peeing. The act reduces risk for prostate problems and also helps men achieve a longer, healthier sex life.

I think that this is a bit silly--but can't you at least report the truth? ONE MAN--in a Left Party COUNTY level, not national, proposed this.

This is (unsurprisingly) shoddy reporting, at best. But kudos to your Fox "News" hyperbole and out-right lies!

obviously this person has never cleaned the floor of a WOMAN'S room.

sheesh.

ok, after reading the links, this move is apparently part of an effort to go to gender neutral toilets in this particular office building.

seems he figured if he makes this rule, the women will be on board with the change in scenery.

while that may be true for some women, there are others who will "hover" in ANY toilet that is not their home. THAT practice can create just as much of a mess, if not more.

Ridiculous. The worst thing I deal with in bathrooms are feminine hygiene products stinking the place up worse than people not flushing the toilet. If they want to make men sit on toilets to take a leak, maybe women should be required to take a pregnancy test before using the toilet as often as we hear about them giving birth in toilets because they had no idea they were pregnant.

Wow, and I thought we had Nanny State problems over here.
I dunno how it is in Europe, but here in America, women's restrooms are known to be many times more filthy and disgusting compared to men's bathrooms. Maybe we need to make the women stand up in restrooms? *LOL*

Personally I'll take a leak any which way I want if they have a problem with that screw them.

Also if you live in North America these types of bans are a lot closer than you think. A restaurant in Vancouver, BC has also banned urinating while standing up.
