That would be Tony Rezko and the other guy is an Iraqi British billionaire that Americans haven't heard much about and "Web-scrubbing" may be the reason. How about it's the parents choice of where they let their child spend spring break? As parents their child's safety is their concern not ours. How about when did we get to decide where and when the First Family get to go on their vacations? Malia was just as safe in Mexico as she would have been "somewhere in the United States".

Where ever she went right wing Obama haters would have had something to say. The only thing I have to say is that I hope she really enjoyed her spring break in Mexico and I am happy all precautions were taken for her safety.

I am also happy to say that so far as we know, Malia did not go off on a drunken topless binge of shame and degradation as the Bush twins did as often as possible (like father, like daughters). She also does not have a boyfriend living in the White House as some one's pregnant unwed daughter's mother allowed under her roof..

They're entitled to do something stupid like sending their kid someplace where the State Dept. has a travel advisory. But then let THEM pay for the 25 Secret Service agents that have to accompany her.

Obviously, she was quite safe in Mexico unless you know something I don't know. Her safety is her parents concern, not yours. The travel advisory does not cover all of Mexico and I am sure the part Malia traveled to was just as safe as anywhere else. With all of the right wing hatred of the Obamas espoused from some on the right in this country, she might have been even safer there than here.

My primary concern is exactly what I stated. I believe that any use of taxpayer money is a legitimate topic for a news story - no matter WHO it involves. Period.
