To those that spent their life paying into the system, healthcare, medicare, prescription drugs, social security are called benefits
To those that never paid a dime into the system and have their snouts in the public trough collecting Welfare, Food stamps, Section8 housing etc.... these are called "entitlements" which falsely presupposes that one person is "entitled" to enjoy the tangible fruits of another person's labor when the government extracts them from the latter through the coercion known as taxes.
In any other context, "entitlements" are nothing but the receipt of stolen property.
Unsustainable: Should the baby-boomers ( 1946-1964 ) be declared "unsustainable" by the government ? Their entitlements ( healthcare, medicare, prescription drugs, social security, etc. ) are causing undue hardship on society, and preventing growth.
