I'm a T-Partier and a registered Republican. I vote holding my nose on occasion but there is no way I could ever support the democrat platform. The democrats are just about "anti" everything I stand for and believe. We have many lame republican leaders of whom many are being weeded out. The problem with voting for a democrat that I might like is that they caucus with their party and generally toe-the-line when they vote. I voted for Palin in 2008 knowing that the RINO McCain wouldn't do near the damage to our country as Obama. toe-the-line vote voted palin 2008 rino mccain damage country obama

I so hate voting for the least desirable alternative. I am fighting for California to pass Proposition 14 on the June ballot. Starting in 2012, there would be only one primary ballot, and it would be open to all candidates and voters. The top two vote-getters, regardless of party, would advance to the general election, similar to the way local officials are elected in California. Of course the party incumbents despise any form of open primary because they fear losing power. That reason is enough for me to want it to pass.

Although the Democrat Party abandoned me many yaers ago,I remain a member because someone has to try and weed out the maniacs in State Primaries.

Do not suppose that I am one of those "I am registered to a party and MUST vote for that candidate" people.

I have met intelligent people who would vote for Hitler if he had a Donkey next to his name: STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES.
