United Nations says US should return stolen land to Indian tribes?
UN's correspondent on indigenous peoples urges government to act to combat 'racial discrimination' felt by Native Americans
A United Nations investigator probing discrimination against Native Americans has called on the US government to return some of the land stolen from Indian tribes as a step toward combatting continuing and systemic racial discrimination.
James Anaya, the UN special rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples, said no member of the US Congress would meet him as he investigated the part played by the government in the considerable difficulties faced by Indian tribes.

If Obama did listen to them, and it's 50/50 that he does at this point! (I'm also thinking he will listen especially if they promise him a dictatorship), I suggest we all head south to Mexico since they don't mind coming here uninvited..that is of course after tearing down our homes and all infrastructure, gardens, farm lands etc, oh, and level all cities. They can start from scratch!
Hollywood and revisionist history tells us that they were all peaceful and just talked to the wind while the white man destroyed them.
It's a nice thought, and all things considered,
MIGHT be a step in the right direction, in terms of racial descrimination...
Whether it's feasible, it this point, I'm not so sure, and may be harmful on the whole ~
Encouragement to the recovery of Native American Cultures, lest it vanish, completely,
needs to happen in some way, shape or form though, as we will suffer greatly without it...
