I work for Local 47 Indianapolis, Indiana. All i can say is BS.
But then again, since Dubya's patriot act took effect, none of us have any rights, so maybe all employers are trying to get information they shouldn't have. Would be nice to ship back all the Illegals that our previous administration let enter the country by sending those that protect our borders to prison for shooting illegals crossing the borders. Go figure
Unions want your private information, and the NLRB was helping them get it. Another Obama plan to target Americans.

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) wants to require businesses to surrender lists of employees’ phone numbers and personal email addresses to union organizers. Giving away employees’ personal contact information violates basic privacy rights and will inevitably lead to workers being targeted for harassment at the hands of union bosses.
Congress is getting ready to vote on a Congressional Review Act resolution that will tell the NLRB to stop using government power to benefit union bosses.

March 27,
Forgive me if I need more than just your word and ask for some credible proof of your assertion.
Just like I'm sure you wouldn't want to give up your Facebook and Twitter password like many corporations and public sector employers want employees to do. The ACLU would be the first to fight this.
