Obama said he is deeply concerned at what he calls a stalled economy. Obama's administration once said the stimulus plan will keep the unemployment at less than 8%. What happened?

I live in Michigan. A BLEW STATE. WE are at 14.5 %. We were at 9.5 % 2 years ago. Nice to have company. We were waaaaay ahead of the curve on this one. Our DEMOCRITIC " guvna " and the rest of her posse are Idiots ! The proof is in the numbers. GOOD GRIEF !
The hand out people love it and keep voting them in. The rest of their voter base are dreamland rich "liberals".
We are the poster child for The D.N.C.. YAY !

I believe he lied through his teeth. I believe he KNEW there would be very high unemployment. I also believe this is exactly what he wants so more people would turn to the government for assistance. What better way to get control of the people?

i totally agree with everything u said....as to what better way i think obama is making doubly sure ppl r totally dependent by controlling our health care....the dem congress/politicians have this thirst for power....so much so that they want to hold us all by the hold hairs. dictating to us what we can n cannot do. this country is no longer a free country....not the same country we used to know. when n if the cap n trade, the socialized health care r passed there will be no turning back....no turning back.
we will be back to the days of slavery. the middle class will be destroyed. the rich will stay afloat. the rich like obama will not use the socialized health care he is pushing for because as he said he wanted the best for his family.
so far....what has obama promised during his elections that he has fulifilled? the unemployment rate? transparency in his gov? what?

Nobody in the business world trusts Obama, that's a simple fact. They have no idea if they going to be taxed above and beyond what is reasonable or not.

As usual, our loving President was wrong. Sometimes I think the man may be sincere, an idealist. Many times a child or young person may look at a particular problem and come up with what they may consider a fool proof answer to it. Experience, through trial and error, usually debunks such theories.
Who knows what kind of President he could have become, had he not been put on the fast-track, had he been allowed to get rid of some of his "baby fat" before taking over such a high office.

Average work week is down to 33 hours per week for those that ARE employed. So this is even worse. Full time people are getting laid off to be re-hired as part-timers without benefits. We are even doing it here at the University. Fewer hours to pay for and if they average less than 32 hours per week no benefits to boot.

Obama Jimmy Carter Jr. wants people to be unemployed and have no benefits so that the people go along with his plot for "Free Government Health Care"
