UN Vehicles participate in Iran's Army Day Parade

Annette 2012/04/23 18:41:59
Correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe that Hilary Clinton handed over a Small Arms Treaty from the United States (still not ratified by the individual states however). And although they seem to take pains to emphasize that these vehicles are used for "peacekeeping", but I have to ask what are they doing in an Army Day Parade in Iran? Somehow this does not quite compute! The video does not seem to want to imbed, so please see the link.

Hard to say anyone can whitewash some vehicles and put insignias on the side. The Benz's are common and the M113's on the back easily could be left over from the Shah's days. But then again the UN is run by certified morons anyway.

We should withdraw from the UN at once.

That was a subject we debated in High School, and I still think the same way now - we should have never been a part of it.

I remember that, that was early on. I'm sure Barry must've done something, else they wouldn't have dissed him so.

Don't forget, that could have been staged. Look at how cozy he was with Medvedev. Acted like he was a very close friend when he thought he was off the mike. Both sides there are as two-faced as the demon in Amadeus.

Wow, a rare show of honesty on behalf of the UN. Is anyone keeping account of the UN vehicles so that they do not get 'left' behind?

I don't think these are the real U.N. if you've asked me. I believe it is some kind of propaganda telling the world what would happen if the U.N. intervene with their agenda. I've notice the white flag on top of the trucks. To me it mean that perhaps U.N. will have to surrender themselves to Iran if they ever got involve with Iran. I don't think the U.N. has any involvement of any kind with Iran unless someone is getting pay to do this. Something about this video that doesn't fit right. It's more of an impressionistic............ PBWY

France seems to think so, and there was another narrator in there who also mentioned the UN. Don't forget that 192 Muslim nations are members of the UN.

I didn't see anyone wearing a blue helmet with a UN on it. I thought the UN wear blue helmet if they were indeed UN. In addition, why were they on the back of a trailer? Why did they have to have a white flag? I don't get it. I saw nothing that indicate it was the UN. Maybe I should get another pair of glasses or drink more coffee.. PBWY

Do you think two reporters are telling us a lie and showing us something that isn't true? I am not sure what the second language is, but I can follow the French fairly well, and the English is perfectly clear. As for blue hats - maybe that is for combat troops on foreign soil. I can't answer you that.
Maybe that is why they are waving white flags. But I sure don't think the film is tampered with, and I am sure the reporters are not lying about who they are. Your guess is as good as mine. But I will say this, I find it very unnerving to see UN troops in an Iranian parade. The least peaceful of the nations around the world with the exception perhaps of Korea, is Iran. Now that is something to consider when the UN is supposed to uphold peace!

Both to more coffee and getting new glasses.

The letters UN on the side of the vehicles would be an indication.

There is a message in there someplace. Unless the UN complains, it is safe to say that they were part of the parade.

Sorry, apparently you don't understand French! And when was the last time you checked out who the UN is made up of. There are 192 Muslim nations that comprise the UN.

So what doesn't fit right? Maybe it's because the WHITE flag is a flag of surrender? Eh?

The beginning is in French, and they mention the same thing the English translation is saying, and then it goes to another nation speaking, like they are giving us a cross-reference of languages all narrating on the same event. The French certainly recognized them.

JUST like our President, take a close look at the flags that are on those U.N. Vehicles! NOT the "traditional" Blue with the World Peace symbol.... Rather the FLAG OF SURRENDER!

    What's up with that!!! :(
