This is just window dressing to give Iran the illusion of having a voice in the U.N. Like those resolutions that get passed by the "lesser members" that get ignored. It's like our government here at home, we feel we have a voice because we elect representatives to go to Washington, D.C., but in reality they do what they want without regard to what we say, and if the President wants to do something contrary to Congress he just does it with Executive Order or leaps over to the U.N. It's all a shell-game.

The U.N. is primarily funded by the U.S.
The U.N. resolutions and mandates are enforced by the world-wide military network of the U.S.
U.S leadership is always talking about the "international community" when explaining why one nation or another needs to be attacked or their sovereignty violated.

Who controls who really? A serious question.

When the U.N. is finished using the U.S or vice versa., all miscreant resisters of that one world government brought within the will of the "international community"(communism, consider that every time one of our politicians uses that term), will the eye turn on the nationalist, patriotic, individualistic, liberty-loving people of the U.S.? Just look at the police grid called Homeland Security and their labeling of returning vets, liberty movement members, patriots, etc as potential terrorists.

The UN makes crazy decisions because it has alot of crazy members (dictatorships). Therefore , it only makes sense to choose Iran.
