No one saw this coming. The UN has chosen Iran, of all countries, to help negotiate an arms treaty with the rest of the world. Is it a crazy idea -- or does it kind of make sense?

FOXNEWS.COM reports:
Barely a week after accusing Iran of supplying arms for Syria's bloody crackdown on democracy-minded rebels, the UN has given Tehran a key seat at negotiations for a global arms treaty.

Remember they are an organization that has made Libya the head of the human rights committee, has presided over every major genocide in the last 50 years and despite worldwide blooshed they reserve their worst outrage for Israel.

It's crazy too. But think about it, if you had a band of thugs threating you, who would you choose to deal with them? A group that took time to plan everything out, announce the plan on the evening news, brag about how many they are ,and how big their weaponry . Or, a bunch of lunatic ,and your not sure what kind of fire power they got , how many of then there are, or what they may do next. Now, which one are you more scared of ? I thought so !

any weapons they decide they want. Our Government always tells us
that Countries are in possession of "Weapons of mass destruction" so

Those experienced in the art of negotiations will recognize why this arrangement is made. Iran has a problem right now, being in danger of finding itself on the short end of a very large conflict. So, the one with the most to lose is given the responsibility to make an agreement with it's aggressors. If it fails, all who watch can only blame Iran for failing to make an agreement happen. Clever, I say. Of course, we all know there is little to no chance for an agreement, so Iran gets the stick pretty soon.
