Ultraconservative Commentator Pat Buchanan to be Removed from MSNBC Over New Book

Former presidential candidate and archconservative culture warrior Pat Buchanan has finally done it.
It wasn’t his claim that President Obama’s higher education was “probably affirmative action all the way.” It wasn’t his claim that “this has been a country built, basically by white folks.” Or his charge that “in a way, both sides were right” during the Civil War.”
It’s his new book, “Suicide of a Superpower,” widely condemned for titles like “The End of White America” and “The Death of Christian America.” Apparently, the head honchos at MSNBC--where Buchanan is a contributor--finally wised up while he was on his book tour, and decided that they didn’t want his intolerance to be one of the faces of their program. The Associated Press is reporting that Buchanan will not be returning to the network, after 275,000 people signed a petition asking MSNBC to fire him.
As we’ve been saying a lot today, good riddance. If this hastens “The End of an Ugly, Intolerant America,” we can’t wait.

He's a crazy and angry old man that is so out of touch that it's laughable. There was never a reason for MSNBC to employ him in the first place.reply
