The guy who shot Gabby Giffords (and killed a republican judge) was blamed on Sarah Palin and the Tea Party, and some folks still believe that, even though evidence proves otherwise.

There are two groups in the Democrat camp...Liberal and conservatives...
The conservative side started the KKK and just because that group is not as big as it was and doesn't have any more power in political factors doesn't mean their views are long gone. Many Democrats still hold to those views...and so do many Republicans.
To me the good guys are the Moderates and Liberals...of both parties...because neither hold racist views :)

I also blame liberalism. That kind of wickedness comes with that territory.
