Twitter / Barack Obama: "Still a BFD": Appropriate Language for President?

It is about time that the Office of the President stops being elitist and joins the majority of the Citizens.

Back in the day this wouldn't even be an issue. It was just realized inappropriate behavior and language was inappropriate. Something has gone wrong when bad language and behavior is questioned and excused in certain circumstances. "Bad" behavior is ok sometimes? NO it bad behavior is BAD behavior!

Why is it a two year old child knows that inappropriate behavior is inappropriate and as adults, we somehow managed to make exceptions to the rule? Seems to me the two year old has more morals and common sense than anyone who changes right and wrong to make themselves feel good for their poor behavior!

One more point....I would love to think that I could have respect for ALL of our Government officials...especially our President and Vice President. I can go to the projects for cool....when I look to my President, I expect someone I can respect...someone who respects the honor of the seat he holds....yes, it is inappropriate.

When an acronym is used in place of a word or words it is the same thing. Others perceive exactly what was meant. It was childish and uncalled for. That's my point.
BTW...I do believe Joe used the exact words when he spoke in the prez's ear that day. I will admit I don't think the prez was really pleased with his choice of words. I will give him that.
