Should TSA agent apologize for dropping his Grandpa's Ashes or get fired?

An Indiana man is demanding an apology after a TSA agent insisted on sifting through his grandfather’s ashes, spilling a third of his remains onto the terminal floor.

I heard about this. Makes me sick that she broke so many protocols and then laughed at the guy. And all he wants is an apology. Breath of fresh air in our sue happy culture.

But she needs to be fired hardcore.

At the very least, an apology is in order. Ideally, the whole TSA should pack up their bags and get out of our airports.

I think we have all gone insane. We have given up too much freedom for the illusion of freedom. I think the best thing we could have done after the terrorist attacks of September 11th is to continue with our lives. Instead, we have allowed the terrorists to change us. It makes me sad.

The agent should certainly be fired. She violated clearly outlined procedures. Her attitude was disgraceful. She is not the kind of person who should be dealing with the public.

Obviously she, and the TSA, should apologize too.

An Unarmed person was shoot by the cops .. and people cheered him. Yet this is what people are outraged about . While I think this is sad .. It is funny how people go crazy of the TSA when other government agents have been doing a lot worse to the people .

=_= those idiots should be fired. There is no excuse doing that along with disrespecting the dead as well. I'm pretty sure the family is pretty upset about this as well. Apologising will do nothing, because otherwise incidents like this will happen over and over again.

I'm pretty sure they have guidelines for handing human remains like that, and quite frankly there's no grounds for dumping it on the ground or as alleged laughing about it.

There is a very good reason I have not been on a plane for well over 10 years, when you drive and go through the boarder crossings the homeland security guys might never smile, but they never pull stuff like that.

Both,the article says that containers with human remains should be put through the x-ray machine and they aren't allowed to open It,she broke the rules and she has Issues,who sticks their finger In human remains any way,that's really gross.She should apologize to him for being disrespectful and rude.

TSA is the biggest boondoggle. If a stranger groped on the street the way TSA agents legally do, they would be arrested and charged with sexual assault. At least Grandpa wasn't alive to suffer their indignities, but the TSA agent should be fired.
