the truth about Lilith

Lilith dates back to the bird-serpent goddess of antiquity. In Sumeria, she was portrayed as having the wings of a bird.
is it just me or does she look like an angel?
here are many possibilities as to her early goddess names: Belil-ili, Belili, Lillake , or Ninlil

She was a goddess of agriculture as well as the "hand of Inanna
She was said to live in the Huluppu-tree

she is also the Goddess of female independance
The goddess who once protected mothers and infants
Goddess of womans rights to be equals to men
She Taught women to want sex for sex's sake and not for the sake of perpetuating the species
and to be sexually Aggressive

however the Jews/Christians changed her story to this
Lilith was just one of many things the Christian's removed from the old myths when creating the Torah/bible....they couldn't have women having those kind of examples after all.

Lilith was made the first wife of Adam. Some sources say that Lilith was Adam's spirit wife. Other sources claim that Lilith was fashioned from the earth at either the same time as Adam or before Adam. This made Lilith Adam's equal.
As Adam's equal, Lilith refused to lie on her back while Adam took the dominant position in sex (missionary style). Lilith believed that they should make love as equals (the beast with two backs). Adam was adamantly against this, wanting his wife to be submissive, and Lilith left the Garden of Eden.
So then Adam whined to god, and he made a second woman from Adams rib, so that she would obey him.

God then supposedly gave Adam Eve, a docile woman of the flesh.
Eventually, Lilith was portrayed as the foe of Eve. It was Lilith in serpent form who seduced Eve to eat the fruit of knowledge. No doubt the first wife wanted the second wife to see what a jerk Adam was and that Lilith also wanted Eve to open her eyes and come into the fulness of herself, her womanhood.
When both Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden, Adam endured a period of celibacy as penance. During this time, Lilith was said to have caused nocturnal emissions from Adam (night hag). She collected his semen and impreganted herself with it, giving birth to demons.
These children of Lilith were called Lilin or Lilim, "night-demons.
collected semen impreganted birth demons children lilith lilin lilim night-demons

They made her into a demon who kills Children and babies
shes a demoness who sucks the life out unborn children while in the womb
The goddess who once protected mothers and infants was now portrayed as a demoness who caused abortions and murdered infants in their sleep. The Christian church believed that when a baby laughed or smiled in its sleep, it was being entertained by Lilith, and the parents would quickly bop the infant on the nose to distract the infant from the goddess. It was also believed that she came to children in the form of an owl and drank their blood.
nose distract infant goddess believed children form owl drank blood
also shes a vampire according to them
Lilith as Vampire
As the mother of all demons, Lilith has recently been linked to either giving birth to the first vampires or being the first vampire
again she was changed to a succubus
succubus is a female demon that drains a male of life energy by having sex with him
they totally destroyed a sacred goddess

demon drains male life energy sex totally destroyed sacred goddess

Men fear Lilith because she knows the power of her sexuality and she knows that her sexuality has power over men. Like Circe, she turns men into beasts or pigs by opening the doorways to their deep and primal sexual desires
Such desires were forbidden back then
Women, who are like the submissive Eve, also fear Lilith because of the power she holds. But, as has been shown in the myth of the garden of Eden, Lilith is not an enemy of womankind. She holds the ancient fruit of knowledge, the secrets of our deepest sexual nature, and she is willing to offer this fruit to us.
In a frenzy to drive Lilith's worshippers away from the goddess, they made up lies such as this which contradicted her earlier functions as a protectress and helper of birthing mothers and infants.

I've been trying to explain Lilith to people for years. They don't get it. The Jews (and Christians) also removed God's wife Asherah from the Bible and Torah. Although they removed the character, they left behind several references of worship to her.

Exodus 34:13 states: "Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and cut down their Asherah poles." Deuteronomy 16:21 states that YHWH hated Asherim whether rendered as poles— "Do not set up any [wooden] Asherah [pole] beside the altar you build to the Lord your God"— or as living trees— "You shall not plant any tree as an Asherah beside the altar of the Lord your God which you shall make" King Manasseh for example is said to have placed an Asherah pole in the Holy Temple. (2 Kings 21:7) King Josiah's reforms in the late 7th century BC included the destruction of many Asherah poles. (2 Kings 23).

Spurn possessions and keep alive living beings!
Make [the seed of] all living beings go up into the boat.
The boat which you are to build,
its dimensions must measure equal to each other:
its length must correspond to its width.
Roof it over like the Apsu.' [i.e., the firmament in the primordial waters]

[32] I understood and spoke to my lord, Ea:
'My lord, thus is the command which you have uttered
I will heed and will do it.
But what shall I answer the city, the populace, and the Elders?'

[36] Ea spoke, commanding me, his servant:
'You, well then, this is what you must say to them:
"It appears that Enlil is rejecting me
so I cannot reside in your city,
nor set foot on Enlil's earth.
I will go down to the Apsu to live with my lord, Ea,
and upon you he will rain down abundance,
a profusion of fowl, myriad fishes
He will bring to you a harvest of wealth,
in the morning he will let loaves of bread shower down,
and in the evening a rain of wheat!"'

[48] Just as dawn began to glow
    the people assembled around me.
    The carpenter carried his hatchet,
the reedworker carried his flattening stone,

    [two lines destroyed]

[54] The child carried the pitch,
the weak brought whatever else was needed.
On the fifth day I had laid out her exterior.
It was a field in area,
its walls were each 10 times 12 cubits in height,
the sides of its top were of equal length, 10 times 12 cubits each.

[58] Then I designed its interior structure as follows:
I provided it with six decks,
thus dividing it into seven levels.
The inside of it I divided into nine compartments.
I drove plugs to keep out water in its middle part.
I saw to the punting poles and laid in what was necessary.

[65] Three times 3,600 units of raw bitumen I poured into the bitumen kiln,
three times 3,600 units of pitch [...] into it,
there were three times 3,600 porters of casks who carried vegetable oil.
Apart from the 3,600 units of oil for the dedication,
the boatsman stored away two times 3,600 units of oil.

[70] I butchered oxen for the carpenters,
and day upon day I slaughtered sheep.
I gave the workmen beer, ale, oil, and wine,
as if it were river water,
and they made a party like the New Year's Festival!

[75] I set my hand to the finishing of the ship.
The boat was finished by sunset.
    The launching was very difficult:
They had to keep carrying a runway of poles front to back,
until two-thirds of it had gone under water.

[80] Whatever I had I loaded on it:
whatever silver I had I loaded on it,
whatever gold I had I loaded on it.
All the living beings that I had I loaded on it,
I had all my kith and kin go up into the boat,
all the beasts and animals of the field and the craftsmen I had go up.

[87] [The sun god] Šamaš had set a stated time:
'In the morning I will let loaves of bread shower down,
and in the evening a rain of wheat!
Go inside the boat, seal the entry!'

[89] That stated time had arrived.
In the morning he let loaves of bread shower down,
and in the evening a rain of wheat.
I watched the appearance of the weather:
the weather was frightful to behold!

[93] I went into the boat and sealed the entry.
For the caulking of the boat, to Puzur-Amurri, the boatman,
I gave the palace together with its contents.

[96] Just as dawn began to glow
there arose from the horizon a black cloud.
[the storm god] Adad rumbled inside of it,
before him went Šhullat and Haniš [Sack and Suppression],
heralds going over mountain and land.

[101] [The god of destruction] Erragal pulled out the mooring poles,
forth went [the war god] Ninurta and made the dikes overflow.

[103] The gods lifted up the torches,
setting the land ablaze with their flare.

[105] Stunned shock over Adad's deeds overtook the heavens,
and turned to blackness all that had been light.
He shattered the land like a raging bull, broke it into pieces like a pot.

[108] All day long the South Wind blew,
blowing fast - and then the Flood came,
overwhelming the people like an attack.

[111] No one could see his fellow,
they could not recognize each other in the torrent.

[113] Even the gods were frightened by the Flood,
and retreated, ascending to the heaven of Anu.
The gods were cowering like dogs, crouching by the outer wall.

[116] Ištar shrieked like a woman in childbirth,
the sweet-voiced Mistress of the Gods wailed:
'The olden days have alas turned to clay,
because I said evil things in the Assembly of the Gods!
How could I say evil things in the Assembly of the Gods,
ordering a catastrophe to destroy my people?
No sooner have I given birth to my dear people
than they fill the sea like so many fish!'

[124] The gods -those of the Anunnaki- were weeping with her,
the gods humbly sat weeping, sobbing with grief,
their lips burning, parched with thirst.
    Six days and seven nights
    came the wind and flood,
    the storm flattening the land.

[129] When the seventh day arrived,
    the storm was pounding.
She who had been struggling with itself like a woman writhing in labor,
the sea, calmed; the whirlwind fell still; the flood stopped.

[133] I looked around all day long - quiet had set in
and all the human beings had turned to clay!
The terrain was as flat as a roof.

[136] I opened a vent and daylight fell upon my cheek.
I fell to my knees and sat weeping,
    tears streaming down my cheeks.
I looked around for coastlines in the expanse of the sea,
and at twelve leagues there emerged a region of land.

[141] On Mount Nimuš the boat lodged firm,
Mount Nimuš held the boat, allowing no sway.
One day and a second Mount Nimuš held the boat, allowing no sway.
A third day, a fourth, Mount Nimuš held the boat, allowing no sway.
A fifth day, a sixth, Mount Nimuš held the boat, allowing no sway.

[146] When a seventh day arrived
I sent forth a dove and released it.
    The dove went off, but came back to me;
no perch was visible so it circled back to me.

[150] I sent forth a swallow and released it.
    The swallow went off, but came back to me;
no perch was visible so it circled back to me.

[153] I sent forth a raven and released it.
The raven went off, and saw the waters slither back.
It eats, it scratches, it bobs, but does not circle back to me.

[156] I sacrificed: I offered a libation to the four corners of the world,
I burned incense in front of the rising mountain.
Seven and seven cult vessels I put in place,
and into the bowls I poured [the oil of] reeds, cedar, and myrtle.

[160] The gods smelled the savor,
the gods smelled the sweet savor,
and collected like flies over a sacrifice.

Just then the Mistress of the Gods arrived.
She lifted up the large fly-shaped beads which Anu had made for their engagement:

'You gods, as surely as I shall not forget this lapis lazuli around my neck,
may I be mindful of these days, and never forget them!
The gods may come to the incense offering,
but Enlil may not come to the incense offering,
because without considering he brought about the Flood
and consigned my people to annihilation.'

    [171] Just then Enlil arrived.
He saw the boat and became furious,
he was filled with rage at the Igigi gods:
'Where did a living being escape?
No man was to survive the annihilation!'

[176] Ninurta spoke to Valiant Enlil, saying:
'Who else but Ea could devise such a thing?
It is Ea who knows every machination!'

[180] Ea spoke to Valiant Enlil, saying:
'It is yours, O Valiant One, who is the Sage of the Gods.
How, how could you bring about a Flood without consideration
Charge the violation to the violator,
charge the offense to the offender,
but be compassionate lest (mankind) be cut off,
be patient lest they be killed.

[187] Instead of your bringing on the Flood,
would that a lion had appeared to diminish the people!
Instead of your bringing on the Flood,
would that a wolf had appeared to diminish the people!
Instead of your bringing on the Flood,
would that famine had occurred to slay the land!
Instead of your bringing on the Flood,
would that Pestilent Erra had appeared to ravage the land!

[196] It was not I who revealed the secret of the Great Gods,
I only made a dream appear to Atrahasis, and thus he heard our secret.
Now then! The deliberation should be about him!'

[198] Enlil went up inside the boat
and, grasping my hand, made me go up.
He had my wife go up and kneel by my side.
He touched our forehead and, standing between us, he blessed us:

    [202] 'Previously Ut-napištim was a human being.
But now let Ut-napištim and his wife become like us, the gods!
Let Ut-napištim reside far away, at the Mouth of the Rivers.'

[205] They took us far away and settled us at the Mouth of the Rivers.

[To Gilgameš] Now then, who will convene the gods on your behalf,
that you may find the life that you are seeking!
Wait! You must not lie down for six days and seven nights."

[209] Soon as Gilgameš sat down (with his head) between his legs
sleep, like a fog, blew upon him.
    Ut-napištim said to his wife:
"Look there! The man, the youth who wanted (eternal) life!
Sleep, like a fog, blew over him."

we should talk more since i study old religions i can show you things like this

(Genesis 1:26) The [Elohim] said, "Let us make humanity in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves, and let them be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild beasts and all the reptiles that crawl upon the earth." Elohim is a plural word, including male and female, and should properly be translated "Gods" or "Pantheon." (1: 27) The Gods created humanity in the image of themselves, In the image of the Gods they created them, Male and female they created them.

    Elohim means GODS and Goddess

Even the Ten Commandment God Admits he is not the only God

The ancient Egyptians were good at keeping records of major events that occurred in their country. Had there been ten deadly plagues and a large group of people leave the country? There would have been a record of this. Then of course there is a record of the Egyptians taking control of their country again. Pharaoh and his chariots did chase the Hyksos (Jews), to Sinai and the Hyksos did go to
Jerusalem. This would mean that the Jews were not slaves but a foreign military that was exiled from Egypt. And there is scriptural evidence to support this theory.

Numbers 33:1(New King James Version) These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Numbers 33:1 (King James Version)These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

This shows the Jews leaving Egypt with their armies. I have never heard of slaves having armies. Who in their right mind would train and arm the people that they are keeping captive? We will see in the next few chapters, the children of Israel had a highly trained Army. This would indicate that the Jews were not slaves.

the story of Moses and the Exodus is basically a fictional story with a Modern Twist.

the Story of Moses in the Exodus incident is Virtually identical to story of Seth and sethmoses

its an Egyptian myth Written thousands of years before Moses and the Exodus happened in the bible

Osiris God of the Egyptian Gods was killed by his brother Seth
Isis Resurrects Osiris Seth kills him again so Osiris is Born Reincarned into Isis as his own son Horus <- Virgin birth Story

Horus Grows up and defeats Seth and frees the people of Egypt from Seths iron Rule Exiles him from Egypt and imprisons him on a mountain

    Sethmoses Seths Son Vows Revenge
He Gathers an army of Tribes of people and Fights Horus and the Egyptians the Coup is put down they are Exiled forever for this
Chased out of Egypt Sethmoses Parts the red sea and leads his army out of Egypt
Sethmoses goes to the moutain where his father is imprisoned gets Word of where to go
the Promised land to go and build a huge army and Wait for the moment to strike and take back Egypt and Free Seth from his prison

to accomplish this Seth Gives Sethmoses 2 magical Tablets to be kept in a Gold Box

As he comes off the mountain he finds his army worshipping Egyptian Gods
upset he kills some of them as a warning to others
then takes them into the desert for fourty years to get the Egyptian culture of of his people Called the Hyksos

Bear in mind that the story of Moses and the Exodus is basically a fictional story with a historical base. I personally feel that the children of Israel were in fact known as the Hyksos. Flavius Josephus identified the Hyksos as the patriarchal Jews, equating their appearance in Egypt with the story of Joseph in Genesis and the expulsion of the Hyksos, with the biblical story of the Exodus. Manetho's account, as recorded by Josephus, of the appearance of the Hyksos in Egypt described it as an armed invasion by foreign barbarians who met little resistance and who subdued the country by military force. He recorded that the Hyksos burnt Egyptian cities, destroyed temples and led women and children into slavery. Josephus identifies the Israelite Exodus with the first exodus mentioned by Manetho, when some 480,000 Hyksos “shepherd kings” (also referred to as just “shepherds”, as “kings” and as “captive shepherds” in his discussion of Manetho) left Egypt for Jerusalem in the 16th century BC. There is also some evidence that points to the takeover of Egypt by the Hyksos as a gradual process referred to by some scholars as the “creeping conquest”. This means that through migration, they slowly infiltrated the Egyptian government and took control of the country. This was during a period of time when Egypt was weakened by plagues and famine

I had heard of Lilith but only as the first wife of Adam. I did not realize that she had actually been a Pagan goddess. And I like the fact that she is the goddess of female sexuality; the Goddess of female independence; the goddess who protected mothers and infants; the Goddess of womans rights to be equals to men; and that she taught women to want sex for its own and not just for perpetuating the species; and to be sexually Aggressive. She's someone I would like. Leave it to the Christians to turn her into a demon who sucked the life out of children during the night. Thanks for all the info. Great post as always!

Of course, Lilith was removed from the bible. She's in the Torah right?

The first time I heard about her was from a feminist friend of mine on a different website. She was complaining about how Lilith was being demonized for nothing.

    She's right.

a common thing the hebrews did was demonize Pagan religions to draw worshippers away from them so they demonized our Gods said they were evil
yet the hebrews as the bible is proof of this were the ones raping and enslaving people in the name of god and killing and doing human sacerfice

the babylonians had enough of them and kicked thier ass

Just like modern "civilization" to put down a strong and sexual woman!

I'll never forget the time two sweet, middle aged Jehovahs Wittness ladies came to my door to peddle their waste of forest resources (also known as "the Watchtower"). It was apparently about Paganism, and the ladies breathlessly held it out to me and said "did you know that the Goddess is still being worshipped today?". As though worshipping a bearded father figure was great but a mother figure was representative of the devil itself! Guess those ladies were of the "afraid of sexuality and power" type. Too bad for them.

I replied (with a smile, of course), "oh yes, I know quite a few nice people who do so, and I'm thinking of joining them!". You wouldn't believe how quickly they hightailed it out of there!
