If his track record thus far is any guide, I think we can safely presume NOT, such as this shining example of how he puts America's best interests "first:"

True or false: I'm sure Obama will do what's best for America if he gets a 2nd term.

False [explain].

Dead Bin Laden
We need to help him by replacing all the party of NO members of congress with Democrats so he can get the job done. We would also do out country a great service by doing a similar thing in our individual states along with replacing the Republican governors.
"hi story" or "his tory"??? are you kidding me? neither make sense --- Why did you bother to correct me?
I would try to clear this up for you but I don't have any crayons and construction paper. Now get lost. I've blocked you because I'm not interested in your stupid dribble. So tell me, did you choose today to humiliate yourself in public?
Missing the point shows lack of experience, which is forgivable in a high school kid. The spelling points she attempted are are a mystery to me. Maybe a spokesman for the Teachers Union can explain it.
Is the word 'concatenation' in your vocabulary yet? Look it up! The word ‘history’ IS a concatenation of the two words, “his’ and ‘story’. And when that action is accomplished, one of the “S’s” is dropped resulting in ‘history’.
There were NO misspellings in Doreen’s original posting! Keep up the good work.
Very best regards,
Pete
there were spelling errors in Doreen's post. and it's kind of sad that you didn't realize it. I know what concatenation means. it's joining two words together but neither of the words are spelled differently. like "snow" and "ball" to form "snowball."
All the best,
Lucy.
The English language does not follow nice, simplistic, hard fast rules. Exceptions abound everywhere, especially where concatenations, contractions and colloquialisms are incorporated into it. Where do all the letters go when “can not” is contracted into “can’t?”
(It certainly does make it a difficult language to learn for foreigners.)
Very best regards, and best wishes in your studies,
Pete
I understand that. But what Doreen said was not a contraction at all. just a wrong spelling.
Sincerely,
Lucy
This is wrong? I don’t see it. ... "History---His story”
Can we agree to disagree on this one?
Regards, the best,
Pete
