Trucks and cars are being required to have electronic on-board recorders, or EOBRs installed. ON a truck it tracks your movements all the time, on a car just in the seconds before a crash.

Some cars have had this gadget in them since 2010 and by 2015 it will be manditory. Its an unassuming box under the dash that will tell the cops what you were doing before the accident. On trucks it tells the cops everything they want to know about the truck and hours of service. Each truck has to buy the tattle tale unit for $1,600 and then pay a $35 a month fee (tax). It is a violation of the 4th and 5th amendment. Is this a good idea or just a money grab?
