If everything Romney has done is legal, then what is his problem with releasing his tax information?
Romney's father set the transparency standard in 1968 by releasing 12 years of past tax returns. Obama has followed in the the Senior Romney's footsteps by releasing 11 years of past tax returns. Why doesn't Mitt do the same?
What is Mitt afraid of you knowing? That his advisors had to tell him that having a multi-million Swiss bank account to hide money from U.S. taxation wasn't a good idea for a Presidential candidate? That he still has multi-millions stashed in tax havens in the Cayman Islands? That tax havens may be legal, but a PRESIDENT using them to avoid paying taxes to his own country would leave a bad taste in the mouth of voters?
Isn't this what dictators in foreign countries do, stash their money away in off-shore accounts so it's there for them when they flee their country?
Those who have nothing to hide, hide nothing. C'mon Mitt, time to come clean! Obama has.
I can hardly wait until the debates!!

Mitt has only released his 2010 tax returns and has given an estimate for 2011.
Mitt has released ONE year. Mitt's father released 12 years.
Sure we need to know. It goes to character.
Mitt knows the truth will hurt him. That's why he's not giving it.
OF COURSE Mitt's tax returns are needed to know his tax dealings! His investments, his Bermuda "corporation" he put in his wife's name prior to running for Mass Gov.
Mitt knows his tax returns hold information that would jeopardize his bid for the White House--that's why he won't release them!
Which is precisely why Americans should demand he does.
Calls for transparency are justified in my mind, but Obama pundits must be willing to call for the same from their current leader if they expect me to take them seriously.
If Mitt is afraid to do the same, there is something he doesn't want the American people to know. And Mitt knows that "something" will hurt him.
The CIC has every right to claim executive privilege and "seal" certain documents from public view. Mitt isn't the CIC yet.
And if you demand Obama unseal his executive orders, then you should require the 6 executive orders that G. W. Bush made unsealed as well.
The rules are the same for everyone, or not at all.
The same for both. We're still waiting for Bush's.
You're foolish if you think it doesn't matter that a man who wants the most important job on earth is hiding questionable information from the voters.
Obama has made his financial information available online back to 2000. Romney has only made 2010 available and refuses to go back any further. That's HUGE in my book.
I want transparency for all, and all you are giving me to go on is a "well Bush did this"....."So I think Obama should be off the hook"
Sorry, but using Bush as an excuse also does not wash with me.
You didn't demand it of Bush, and you're not demanding it of Romney either.
It is also quite clear that you are a waste of my time to bother with.
Good day.
