She is one crazy lady...how she ever was elected is beyond my understanding. Don't they have to have some intelligence to be in Congress?

I don't care what she says as long as she votes the way that she promised during her campaign.

I am glad there is a conservative that really figured out that this woman is crazy and needs to be put in a mental institution. Most of the right just listens to her and keeps their mouth shut.

Attack? It's a news report. A senior aide to an outspoken member of Congress resigned her job over what she perceives as the increasingly irrational politics of her boss. You want to defend Michelle Bachmann's politics, fine. You want to complain that the aide is wrong, fine. You want to even make up conspiracy theories about how the aide is really a Kenyan muslim working for Acorn, go ahead. But attacking Nancy Pelosi? Her name does not even appear in the article!

America needs a lot more Bachmanns. People who have the backbone to stand up and speak out against what is wrong.

And the House members name was Ishmael, I'd bet. Personally I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to go down with the ship, either.

    Quote from the article:
"A conservative Republican House member, speaking on the condition of anonymity, suggested that Bachmann’s views — and her willingness to state them — make it hard for her to keep staff.

“When your captain’s crazy, it’s time to find a new ship,” the lawmaker said.

Marston replaced Bachmann’s former chief of staff, Rich Dunn, last February. She beefed up Bachmann’s outreach operations with the aim of getting her out in the public eye more often.

“She looks like the type of person who you would invite in to have a cup of coffee at your table,” Marston said at the time. “There are a lot of people who are good, smart, well-meaning, well-intentioned members of Congress, but they speak to the people like they are members of Congress. Rep. Bachmann talks to people like they are people.” "(End quote)

The unidentified detractor who speaks in mysterious metaphor or the named former aide's straight forward praise? Is it possible that unidentified HM was probably slapped silly by Bachmann after he made a pathetic attempt at a pass at her, and has been holding an unabated grudge against her ever since?

It's also possible that Michelle Bachmann was possessed by aliens from the planet Tatooine and forced to say the things she said against her will, but its not any less likely than your fanciful (though admirably creative) scenario. :)
