You want to defend Michelle Bachmann's politics, fine. You want to complain that the aide is wrong, fine. Is it possible that unidentified HM was probably slapped silly by Bachmann after he made a pathetic attempt at a pass at her, and has been holding an unabated grudge against her ever since?

It's also possible that Michelle Bachmann was possessed by aliens from the planet Tatooine and forced to say the things she said against her will, but its not any less likely than your fanciful (though admirably creative) scenario. :)
