I do salute te flag except for that part of the pledge which was added 58 years ago today.
As with the cathiolic church of today trying to influence and deny what is good for the majority, they got involved in 1953, resukting in the changing of the pledge in 1954.
The original was fine (and stillis) and the changes were unnecessary and violate the doctrine of church and state.
I do believe in God, but want to keep him/her/it out of government, as it should be.
"...In 1953, the Roman Catholic men's group, the Knights of Columbus mounted a campaign to add the words "under God" to the Pledge. The nation was suffering through the height of the cold war, and the McCarthy communist witch hunt."
As a Vietnam veteran . I fly our flag every day . I will also defend our flag and our Constitution with my life . And I use our 2nd amendment every day . I am a gun owner and I do carry a gun .

Having pride in your country and it's flag is honorable and patriotic. The LWNJ will not like this question. Obama does not respect the flag or the country. If he did the fed would not be suing AZ. for trying to keep their border and all America safe, or his suing Florida for purging illegal alien voter registration. This POS must go.
Guess I sort of dated myself with the 1st pic.
