When was the last time anyone critiqued Colin Powell's "fashion sense"? Or Alexander Haig's? Or Henry Kissinger's?

And who cares what Tim Gunn thinks anyway?

She dresses like she should dress - a middle aged business woman - Tim Gunn is used to high fashion and models - she dresses age appropriate which is refreshing and it does not take away from her intelligence or business savvy

Maybe if she tried a drop cloth or a table cover or a moo moo - the pants suits covering those log legs ain't helping.
She's twice the man than those dignitaries she meets with.

She is appropriately dressed for her position and is comfortable with it. Why pick on her ? She cannot be sitting on almost revealing dress like Fox News women while discussing worlds affairs with ,especially Arab leaders who have a problem controlling their manhood bravado . Why not talk about the half-naked woman walking into Walmart and creating temporary amnesia among men shoppers.Walmart may have suffered drop in sales. When she walked in half-naked the men shoppers ,suddenly, could not remember why they were in Walmart. Tim Gunn has zero common sense points ! Make do of nothing.

Are you kidding me. If she spent all her time worried about fashion, then I would be concerned. Just another fashion geek who would attend an even of world importance and be more concerned about what someone is wearing than the matter at hand. Pretty shallow worthless excuse for an adult if you ask me.

She travels the world representing the USA and dresses like a dyke. I realize she has elephantiasis of the legs but she could wear clothes that are stylish.

While his point is irrelevant to her politics (which are even worse than her non-existent "fashion sense"), his point remains: her "fashion sense" sucks dead bunnies through a straw.

When you're being paid to look pretty then you should be subject to others critiquing your appearance. I certainly hope Hilary Clinton is not being paid to look attractive.

Tim Gunn is insignificant unless his name gets web hits. Ignore him and he will go away.

(To my liberal 'friends' -- I am a conservative republican who hates Hillary's politics, but will back any man or woman who is berated for a superfluous nonsense as what they wear.)

As much as I don't appreciate Hillary' politics, in the photos accompanying this thread her ensemble is classic. Next year, it will still be professional and elegant. Gunn's outfit of pinstripe suit, dark windowpane shirt and contrasting dot pattern next year will look like the clown outfit it resembles today. His crap will soon be in Marshalls for $8. It will still be too costly at that price.

I bet during the 1980's, Gunn wore wide doubleknit bell-bottoms trousers with platform shoes containing goldfish.

It's not Hillary Clinton's job to be a fashionista. She's the Secretary of State, for cripe's sake! People need to be thinking about what she's saying, not how she looks. I think she has always been fairly deliberate in her unwillingness to spend much time worrying about her fashion choices and I've always rather respected her for that.

Bronx - did someone push your button........I feel it, jealously, you know envy, all that stuff.
Don't end up like so many, and get pissed off all the time, because you are not GOD.
You are not blessed, you are being tested, and failing because of your attitude, and your stupidity.

First of all, I am sure she has a stylist for when she makes her public appearances. And second, what do her clothes matter? They look nice, they are tailored--they're not rags, for Pete's sake--what more are you expecting? She has to dress seriously so that she is taken seriously...not like Sarah Palin.

Yes, he has a point. Hillary isn't really the best dressed woman in the world...

However, unlike a fashion model or fashion guru like Gunn, Clinton's job has NOTHING to do with fashion. I'm fine with her bad fashion choices because I'd rather have her focusing on important issues of state.

And what does it have to do with anything anyway? When are we going to stop judging people by what they look like and focus on what is really important, such as who the person is and what they believe and what they do for others?
