- Thousands of supporters of California's ban on same-sex marriage rallied in Fresno and San Diego on Sunday in what organizers described as a celebration of traditional wedlock and a thank-you to the California Supreme Court for upholding their voter-approved measure.
In Fresno, about 3,000 demonstrators -- the same number who turned out the day before on the other side -- were told not to accept being called bigots because they support traditional marriage.

Exactly! Just that we don't want interracial couples getting married doesn't mean we're bigots! We're just protecting our traditions!
What is next, Can I marry my brother? My cousin?" In extreme cases, my pet? My God, can we have anything kept traditional and sacred in this country? I was great friends with a homosexual couple next door. We used to hang out. They were the sweetest guys going. But the bottom line is that it is not a traditional life style that warrants the right to marry under the constitution.
It is our job to show their bad ideas make victims of us.
But I really don't agree with them.
These people disgust me.
Protect marriage? Yeah, let's protect marriage, let Bob and Jane get married, have children and spread their hate to their kids.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.
