Thousands rally in support of gay marriage ban

- Thousands of supporters of California's ban on same-sex marriage rallied in Fresno and San Diego on Sunday in what organizers described as a celebration of traditional wedlock and a thank-you to the California Supreme Court for upholding their voter-approved measure.

In Fresno, about 3,000 demonstrators -- the same number who turned out the day before on the other side -- were told not to accept being called bigots because they support traditional marriage.

    The damn has broken, and the sleeping giant has awaken. California has a huge win for American values by amending their Constitution to make traditional marriage the law of the land. The militant homos previously chanted, "As California goes, so goes the rest of the country." Now traditional values have that advantage. AMEN!

    I predict that 2010 will be a landmark, decisive election in favor of the longstanding traditional American values/principles that made this nation, and California great in the first place. And a rejection of the left-wing, radical Marxists currently occupying the White House, who are dismantling our security, prosperity, and freedoms at breakneck speed. . .

    The big question--Will America learn their lesson about these Dem Socialist clowns this time, and embrace our nations founding principles for the long-term? I hope so.

    We Californians need to take back our state. We have a lot of conservatives in this state and I'm sick and tired of our Electoral College votes going Dem. We need to run and support candidates for Congress and take back the State Legislators. THE LEFT has bankrupt our state and it is time for some ACTION. I sick and tired of Hollywood and San Francisco telling us all how to run the state. SCREW THEM. LIVE FREE OR DIE!!

    Let it begin with you. Become an activist. Campaign for candidates who you believe in. Volunteer for your Party. Register voters. Be a watchdog. Write our elected officials on a regular basis. Speak out amongst friends and family regarding current politics. Read your Constitution.

    Together, we can take back our state.

    I care very much when a group that are misguided in thinking we should change the meaning of marriage of one man to one woman to a man & man, woman & woman, man & woman & woman! Next it will be man & sheep, woman & dog. I don't have a problem with same sex relationships living as a married couple, I do have a problem when they want the age old definition of marriage to be changed to include same sex. It is our business when an issue as huge as this is actively being challenged. The people voted, it was decided. How many times do the people have to vote it down? Can we have a do over on Obama? The people voted on him, many do not agree with that outcome, many don't like it, and many want it overturned!
