LIke I've said over and over again......it is a christian act so why don't they just invent something that pretains to them and leave us alone. The bible doesn't recognize a same sex union!!!!

I don't think people realize how passionate some of us are on this. We do not want gay matrriage. It is not appropriate.

T-M, I'm sorry we have to disagree on this. I understand your feelings. I certainly don't approve of discrimination or harm or non-acceptance of homosexuals. I know you're going to say that this is discrimination, but I'll have to disagree and we both know the arguments on both sides. I know we can adjust the laws to accomodate gay relationships for better acceptance, but i do feel strongly that a marriage is between a man and a woman. I certainly believe we are all children of God (and I do not support those that say that homosexuality is a sin) and wish you no ill will at all. I hope you're not ticked off at me and we can remain friends. I sure would like to be your friend.

It IS queer for two people of the same sex to marry. It is abnormal and most people with a good spirit recognize this.
I am happy to see the queers lost this.

Now, now, I won't throw nasty words at you, but when you say 'abnormal' I think you're saying love is abnormal. Because that's what marriage should be. A way to show how you truly love someone.

It really peeves me when people say being gay is abnormal, unnatural, disgusting, etc. It's different, I know. But that's what America is all about. Making a difference in the world.

I am not against Gay/Lesbian Marriage.
I don't care.
It makes peoples life happier.
They're not bothering any of us.
People who are trying to got by religion or anything else.
Just think about them.
Are you really going to make them unhappy or break them up just because they have a different sexual orientation?
Love makes the world go round. They just show a new light to our tradtional ways.

There are a lot of things in this society that do not affect me in the slightest, and yet, they are banned for good reason. The overall decay of society's basic concepts hurts everyone. Especially the children.

I understand that completely Lynn.
And I agree with you to a certain extent.
It is, for children, a pro and con.
Pro is they understand more acception in the world they are a little more open with new/strange ideas. They are more open minded and hearted. And thats what we need for the next generation.
Most people hate because they don't understand it fully. Now I'm not saying go be best friends with someone "different'' Just saying.
Con is what you said they are more affected because they don't have an equal balance needed from a mother and father.
