Thousands rally in support of gay marriage ban
- Thousands of supporters of California's ban on same-sex marriage rallied in Fresno and San Diego on Sunday in what organizers described as a celebration of traditional wedlock and a thank-you to the California Supreme Court for upholding their voter-approved measure. In Fresno, about 3,000 demonstrators -- the same number who turned out the day before on the other side -- were told not to accept being called bigots because they support traditional marriage.

Yea, that's really going to hold up in the Supreme Court. You go ahead and do that, and record it too. I need a good laugh.
Seems like alot of work for a problem that can so easily be fixed by allowing gay marriage...
On a side note: It hasn't been a religious institute for a long time. If it was, then Atheists wouldn't be getting married.
Apparently, the Bible says that gays shouldn't get married. On the other hand, it's a human right to get married to anyone. So it's like Human Right's vs The Bible. Government vs God (indirectly).
If you really think about it, if the whole country were to allow gay marriages, it would threaten the freedom of religion because of peoples beliefs against gay marriages. Hot damn! Either way, I'm pro-gay marriages. But I'm glad their doing this rally nonviolently.

The Homosexual Agenda: Exposing the Principal Threat to Religious Freedom Today
From the review:
"Authors Alan Sears and Craig Osten expose the goals of the homosexual movement and its rising pernicious legal activism. The homosexual agenda has as its primary aim to "trump" the rights of all other groups, especially those of people of faith. The saddest part of the story is that it is working. Sears and Osten provide well-documented proof that America is not only becoming more tolerant of homosexuality, through the indoctrination of children, positive exposure on TV, and the support and approval of corporate America; it is becoming less tolerant of those who disagree."

We must fight back to save our country.
It is an act of jurisprudence; law, not religion. Does the religion grant divorces? Does religion settle custody disputes? Does religion impose alimony and child support?
Why does religion have anything whatsoever to do with this issue?
