This question needs to be asked why do most white people feel it is ok to be racist or are seceretly racist and won't admit it.But when the table is turned when a black person is racist it's the worst sin they ever heard of ?

I [don't] think that is true. Closet racist come in all colors just like outright racist do. I think it is bad for anybody to be racist or prejudice in anyway. Judge a person by their actions, not by their color, religion or whatever it is that causes a person to ignorantly hate another.

I don't see what you're saying here. Meaning I don't see that as the way it goes down in everyday life. There are obviously people who pretend not to be racist, but harbor the feelings, but I don't agree that this is the norm.
I also don't think there is a huge negative reaction when a black person is racist, as opposed to when a white person is racist. Could you give an example of what you are talking about?

As for your other point/statement.... What are you talking about? Yes, there are people who badmouth anyone but the U.S. ...but it's just like everything else, the people who have the most contorversial view and yell the loudest are always the ones you hear, and always the ones on the news. I personally have no problem with people being proud of their country and/or people...just as I am proud of mine. I obviously like the States better, or I would be trying to move, but I don't begrudge anyone for liking their homeland better.

George appeared to be a rational person who looks at someone from the inside, not at the color of their skin before deciding whether to call them friend or someone he doesn't want to be around.

Hussein ran the country of Iraq. He brutally killed thousands upon thousand of people. Why, you might ask. Because they did not think exactly like him, and they did not look like him.

LIsa --- I made a mistake in the wording of this poll instead of most it should have said a lot , see i am white and and most of my life i have lived in areas they are heavily mixed which i thought would be great for my children , but because i am white that makes me privi to all those comments that white people make behind black and hispanics back that they wont say to their face now I am assuming you are also white and i have to assume that you have heard them to because I know i am not the only one .So being white and hearing the comments that i hear one is fair to assume that most white people have some degree of racism still boiling inside them .

I don't think most white people think it's a black person's worst sin to be racist. Some, maybe.
I don't think Americans hate other countries -- I'm sure Hussein is not a country.
I think some of the countries that are anti-America are Communist.

I'm not sure most white people feel it is ok to be racist and are blissfully unaware of the extent they are governed by biased stereotypical racist unconscious attitudes. When whites see blacks being racist they feel angry like many small children do when told they are not supposed to do something but then see others (especially the ones that told them not do that something) doing it. It's human nature but adults should be able to realize the pettiness in such feelings and expect that blacks must push back to regain equality. Let’s just hope the blowback isn't too rough.

This is a quastion that needs to be asked. White people are one of the fakest races i know. They will smile in your face like its all good, and still think their better than you. They think just because their lighter than me that makes them better. I can do any and everything they can. I cant explain why they act the way they do, but i think its so wrong. As a black child I have experienced racism by a white person. I am not saying that all white people are like that. but I do believe they will always think they are better than blacks. It makes me sick that one day my child might be another black child that has to experience being mistreated by a white person, because they think they can. I just pray that a change will come, or a lesson will be learned. But for now i will stay an African American that is equal to all racist in this world, and no one can tell me otherwise.

Not one of my friends smile in your face and think they are better than others. If you say something I don't like I tell you about it, and expect you to do the same with me.

A change will never come when people with your attitude think everyone is talking behind their backs, and out to get them.

We have all had some phoney talk nice to us, while looking down their nose as though there was a bad odor in the room. I just consider that person ignorant, not everyone around me. And I let that person know that I think they are an ignorant fool.

You would get along better if you didn't judge everyone with one narrow minded view.

Your premise that most white people are racist which is incorrect. I am white and I hate racism in any race. I have seen it in every race and it is never pretty. Those of us who lived through integration well know that racism is horrible and do not want it to ever return.
