This President is the most abused in the history of the USA. Surely there is an element of racism here. There is the constant drum beat that he is not one of us.

We look terrible in the eyes of the world. This is a democracy and Obama was elected fair and square. There must be a respect for the office even if you don't like the man or his policies. I did not like Bush policies but I wouldn't dream of calling him vile names and posting that on the internet even anonymously. Some of the comments require a visit from the Secrect Service as far as I can tell. They are more than a little threatening.

I don't know who took more abuse but was Bush potrayed as a monkey ? I refuse to disrepect any president and I can honestly say I have not. There is no justfication for anyone to disrepect the president no matter who he is.

The US Department of Education was created under Carter in 1979 and the education was declining ever since. Maybe it is time to get rid of it and restore the quality of education as it existed before 1980. Obviously the department did more harm then good.

it is kind of sad for me to read your when other countries had civil war to transform themselve meet the ideal of the US, and here we are talking to destroying education, welfare and other need thing that are constitution but now the US value more the money than the education of nation. IN some part of the world they don't model to US and they do as much better than the nation

Because we value education and the carter created department destroyed it, we need to abolish the Dpt of Education and return to what worked before and build on that. Those that want to continue the failed policies are sabotaging the new generations.
