Think this is not a joint effort to overthrow America and Europe? Guess again!

Business ‘We Will Strive to Ensure a New World Order’: Vladimir Putin Outlines Plans for the EU

Here’s what many will not find the “feel good” story of the day:

In an article published just before Russia’s upcoming election,
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin calls on eurozone leaders to
consider the idea of creating what he calls a “Union of Europe.”

“That’s right,” writes Business Insider’s
Adam Taylor, “a Union of Europe, not a European Union — a free trade
zone (and perhaps more) stretching from ‘Lisbon to Vladivostok.’”

As Taylor notes, there’s a certain element of “schadenfreude” in Putin’s article, especially when he writes:

Russia is actively participating in the international
effort to support the ailing European economies, and is consistently
working with its partners to formulate collective decisions under the
auspices of the IMF. Russia is not opposed in principle to direct
financial assistance in some cases.

The Russian PM, “with a tone of a distant if kindly uncle,” as the New York Times put it, outlines his plans for both Russia and the EU [emphasis added]:

Russia is part of the greater world whether we are
talking about the economy, the spread of information or the development
of culture. We do not wish to and cannot isolate ourselves…

However, we intend to be consistent in proceeding from our own
interests and goals rather than decisions dictated by someone else.
Russia is only respected and has its interests considered when the
country is strong and stands firmly on its own feet. Russia has
generally enjoyed the privilege of conducting an independent foreign
policy…I am convinced that global security can only be achieved through
cooperation with Russia rather than by attempts to push it into the
background, weaken its geopolitical position or compromise its defenses.

I do not doubt that we will continue on our constructive course to
enhance global security, renounce confrontation, and counter challenges
like the proliferation of nuclear weapons, regional conflict and
crises…We will do everything we can to see that Russia enjoys the latest
achievements in scientific and technical progress and to assist our
entrepreneurs in occupying their rightful place in the world market.

We will strive to ensure a new world order, one that meets
current geopolitical realities, and one that develops smoothly and
without unnecessary upheaval

Wait, what? We’re now striving for a “new world order”? That’s… well… that’s disconcerting.

His article continues:

…Russia proposes moving toward the creation of a common
economic and human space from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean – a
community referred by Russian experts to as “the Union of Europe,” which
will strengthen Russia’s potential and position in its economic pivot
toward the “new Asia.”

The crisis that has struck the eurozone cannot but affect Russia’s
interests, especially if one considers that the EU is our major foreign
economic and trade partner. Likewise, it is clear that the prospects of
the entire global economic structure depend heavily on the state of
affairs in Europe…We have a stake in ensuring a strong EU…It is in our
interests to realize the enormous potential of the Russia-EU

I propose again that we work toward creating a harmonious community of
economies from Lisbon to Vladivostok, which will, in the future, evolve
into a free trade zone and even more advanced forms of economic

He goes on to explain that “free trade zones” can be realized if,
among other things, eurozone leaders consider easing visa rules and
agree to more cooperation in certain industries (specifically gas).

With Putin as their overlord? I hardly think so.
  • clasact Annette 2012/03/05 23:15:59
are you stuck in the 60s or something
  • Annette clasact 2012/03/06 20:56:55
How do you figure? 0vomit has made treaties with Russia to lower our military power, take out our guided missiles that helped protect Europe from invasion, and Putin has his sights set on taking over all of Europe - what part of the 60's is that, except that Russia hasn't changed any of its goals?
  • clasact Annette 2012/03/06 21:24:02
Russia is not the power it once was their econemy is in even a more fragile state then ours is,they dont hve the money to take anyone over.As for your comment about the president ,the Us has had and has been makeng treaties to disarm and remove nukes and other missels for years or did that fact escape you.Your paranoia of Russia is the same as what people thought in the 60s differance is back then they did have money, econemy and power now they are struggeling like the rest of the world
  • Annette clasact 2012/03/07 04:19:13
As to the treaty issue - 0vomit is out of his league on that one. http://www.sodahead.com/unite...
Paranoid about Russia - hahahaha - you nitwit - it won't be just Russia - China is being brought in to take over our jobs (3 bridges - one in NY, one in CA, and one in Alaska), if 0vomit can swing it the Mexicans will be to the south, and because of his Exec Order on day 6 of his taking office (which has become a law now under the radar of some other bill) we will also be fighting against 80,000 Hamas he has been flying in here on our dime ($2,300,000 worth), housing and feeding them, not to mention the number of active terrorist camps currently within the U.S.
You should really step back and take a good hard look at what is really going on. This is paranoia - this happens to be very real. And you can phoo phoo it if you like, but you are honestly quite ignorant to do so - but hey - kill the enemy, not the messenger, and I am not the enemy. Otherwise - enjoy your dhimmitude.
  • clasact Annette 2012/03/07 11:42:18
name calling is a sure sign that your facts are not worth a dime
  • Annette clasact 2012/03/07 15:54:10

  • clasact Annette 2012/03/07 22:33:21
the first that comes up is Nitwit oh and show a little respect for the president too
  • Annette clasact 2012/03/08 06:10:01
What president? He is a usurper, a liar, a traitor, a Muslim, a marxist thug, and a whole lot of other things, but he is NO president of this country - he stole that position and deserves a traitor's justice - definitely NOT my respect!
  • clasact Annette 2012/03/11 10:36:13
    wow ,thats just unreal
  • Annette clasact 2012/03/11 16:17:41
It also happens to be true! And I am so sorry if the term 'nitwit' hurt your widdle fweelings.

I see you have now blocked me that must be how an informed person responds ...what a joke you are
  • Annette clasact 2012/03/11 17:36:38
Don't like informed people, do you? Tough! Go cry on somebody's shoulder over it. You won't get any sympathy here.
  • No nonsense NanC...don't BS... 2012/03/04 19:35:14
    No nonsense NanC...don't BS me!
Everything Putin does is toward reclaiming the power of the glory days of the Soviet Union.
They lost power because their economy crashed, and they are committed to destroying
other economies, especially the USA, while all the time strenghtening there own. They
have an economy based upon oil profits now, and they are doing everything they can to limit energy to America and Rurope. Do you think they give a d*mn about Iran and China.
I don't, but supporting them depletes America.s economy and strength.

0bama on the other hand has deleted the Eoropean missile defense system, has
agreed to decreased our owm supply of nukes and jist this past week it was revealed that 0bama is giving Russia a number of oil rich islands near Alaska to Russia! WHY?
    Why is 0bama placating Ruaaia?
  • STU~PWCM~JLA~POTL~AFCL 2012/03/04 19:09:00
I strongly agree this is the beginning of an attempt to overthrow the west (the British Isles and America in particular). Russia's diplomatic and economic ties with Europe are already very strong, so I doubt military ties would lead to Russia attacking Europe, at least at the beginning. The far greater risk is European fear over actual or imagined Russian backstabbing at a later date. I.e., any conflict here would likely be started by Europe in a summary attack, and result in a Russian counter-attack. Europe of course would be the loser, due to Russia's vast superiority in nuclear weapons relative to the small arsenal in France.
  • JanHopkins 2012/03/04 18:33:45
Oh no. Not possible. Remember that the NWO is just a conspiracy theory. Isn't that what they keep telling us?
  • jere.ch... JanHopkins 2012/03/04 20:25:22
    So we are told.
  • Annette JanHopkins 2012/03/05 15:43:57
That's what they want us to believe.
  • tncdel 2012/03/04 18:28:45
All the more reason why we need to vote the NWO's creation out in November.

  • Theresa tncdel 2012/03/04 18:35:10
I feel it is too late I do not see us ever having another election. Well in my lifetime anyways. The Military will be put in charge by a grief stricken nation.
  • Annette Theresa 2012/03/05 15:45:38
The Military will be put in charge by a grief stricken nation. ????
  • Theresa Annette 2012/03/05 16:47:37
think about it i you lost your Mother or brother or sister or Father to someone who your own gov't brought to your shores how angry would you be? If you can remember the emotions of 9/11 what happened after that? WE went to war! So magnify it million fold and you can see what I am talking about.
  • Annette tncdel 2012/03/05 15:44:49
We may have to do more than vote them out. I don't personally believe we will have any chance of an election with this sick narcissist in office.
  • CUDDLY BUT STILL CRABBY 2012/03/04 17:53:53
And if you think BHO is in a position to stop it, you are DEAD WRONG. He salivates at the possibility of being president of the world.
  • Theresa CUDDLY ... 2012/03/04 18:26:54
He does but he does not realize the globalist have a different fate for him. His head on a pole! Once all the evil he has done comes to light in the Military take over. His dreams of being king of the world will fade. The problem is once the Military takes over we will be an insane nation. With only one idea. Revenge against all our enemies. The full force of our country will be brought to bear. This will be terrible. The USA in a war footing no man has ever seen before, and it is only mission is destroy!
  • CUDDLY ... Theresa 2012/03/04 18:29:27
I hate to break this to you, but the military has NO INTENTION of taking over and ejecting Obama from the WH.

    Obama s War

and see for yourself how the military "leadership" has sold out the troops in the name of political correctness and could really care less about the troops they command.
  • Theresa CUDDLY ... 2012/03/04 18:32:38
Oh you certainly do not understand. The Military will take power especially when 100,000 Americans die on the same day! They will have no choice! The people will demand it!
  • CUDDLY ... Theresa 2012/03/04 18:33:37
Then, in that case, you should be careful about what you wish for. Once we step off that curb into the road, there is NO turning back.
  • Theresa CUDDLY ... 2012/03/04 20:45:39
You are correct I just can not imagine how much destruction an grief insane USA will cause.
  • Annette Theresa 2012/03/05 15:48:22
How is this 100,000 deaths supposed to come about?
  • Theresa Annette 2012/03/05 16:50:02
In a combined attack using our own children who will unleash the hate they have been taught and the Islamists whose passions would be stirred up then you have the hard core Jihadists who were recently imported by this regime. The is the recipe of this destruction.
  • Theresa Annette 2012/03/05 16:52:57
You need to understand this is going to be totally random acts of violence. That is why it will make the grief so much worse.
  • Annette CUDDLY ... 2012/03/05 15:47:46
That may be changing more rapidly than you think. After this latest shoot himself in the head stunt he pulled with their medical and retirement - could be some big changes of heart there.
  • CUDDLY ... Annette 2012/03/05 15:49:40
I'm not trying to be argumentative. I just don't see it happening. Military leadership these days is way too busy being politically correct and angling for that next star to put on the shoulder.

If it were to happen. It will come primarily from the retired leadership, not the active duty types.
  • Annette CUDDLY ... 2012/03/05 15:51:15
Possibly. I am in correspondence right now concerning much of this.
  • CUDDLY ... Annette 2012/03/05 15:56:09
The openly gay brigade was introduced by Obama into the last bastion of the slice of Americana wherein they were prohibited (openly). Nary a peep was uttered by the current military "leadership".

    That spoke volumes to me.
  • Theresa CUDDLY ... 2012/03/05 16:51:15
Exactly my point it will be the retired Military which will remove the PC crowd. The troops will not follow them because they are all traitors too.
  • Annette CUDDLY ... 2012/03/04 18:27:18
Well, of the United States of America at the very least. We have to do something in our communities to stop this and be prepared for the assault that is coming upon us.
  • CUDDLY ... Annette 2012/03/04 18:30:24
It's not coming, it's already here.
  • Theresa CUDDLY ... 2012/03/04 18:33:22
Yes come Middle of May is the timetable!
