Business ‘We Will Strive to Ensure a New World Order’: Vladimir Putin Outlines Plans for the EU

Here’s what many will not find the “feel good” story of the day:

In an article published just before Russia’s upcoming election,
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin calls on eurozone leaders to
consider the idea of creating what he calls a “Union of Europe.”

“That’s right,” writes Business Insider’s
Adam Taylor, “a Union of Europe, not a European Union — a free trade
zone (and perhaps more) stretching from ‘Lisbon to Vladivostok.’”

As Taylor notes, there’s a certain element of “schadenfreude” in Putin’s article, especially when he writes:

Russia is actively participating in the international
effort to support the ailing European economies, and is consistently
working with its partners to formulate collective decisions under the
auspices of the IMF. Russia is not opposed in principle to direct
financial assistance in some cases.

The Russian PM, “with a tone of a distant if kindly uncle,” as the New York Times put it, outlines his plans for both Russia and the EU [emphasis added]:

Russia is part of the greater world whether we are
talking about the economy, the spread of information or the development
of culture. We do not wish to and cannot isolate ourselves…

However, we intend to be consistent in proceeding from our own
interests and goals rather than decisions dictated by someone else.
Russia is only respected and has its interests considered when the
country is strong and stands firmly on its own feet. Russia has
generally enjoyed the privilege of conducting an independent foreign
policy…I am convinced that global security can only be achieved through
cooperation with Russia rather than by attempts to push it into the
background, weaken its geopolitical position or compromise its defenses.

I do not doubt that we will continue on our constructive course to
enhance global security, renounce confrontation, and counter challenges
like the proliferation of nuclear weapons, regional conflict and
crises…We will do everything we can to see that Russia enjoys the latest
achievements in scientific and technical progress and to assist our
entrepreneurs in occupying their rightful place in the world market.

We will strive to ensure a new world order, one that meets
current geopolitical realities, and one that develops smoothly and
without unnecessary upheaval
.

Wait, what? We’re now striving for a “new world order”? That’s… well… that’s disconcerting.

His article continues:

…Russia proposes moving toward the creation of a common
economic and human space from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean – a
community referred by Russian experts to as “the Union of Europe,” which
will strengthen Russia’s potential and position in its economic pivot
toward the “new Asia.”

The crisis that has struck the eurozone cannot but affect Russia’s
interests, especially if one considers that the EU is our major foreign
economic and trade partner. Likewise, it is clear that the prospects of
the entire global economic structure depend heavily on the state of
affairs in Europe…We have a stake in ensuring a strong EU…It is in our
interests to realize the enormous potential of the Russia-EU
partnership.

I propose again that we work toward creating a harmonious community of
economies from Lisbon to Vladivostok, which will, in the future, evolve
into a free trade zone and even more advanced forms of economic
integration.

He goes on to explain that “free trade zones” can be realized if,
among other things, eurozone leaders consider easing visa rules and
agree to more cooperation in certain industries (specifically gas).

Unfortunately, I wouldn't doubt it. 0vomit is far to narcissistic to allow a legal election - and he helped Putin win his tyrant spot for life! You can clearly guess that he is aiming for the same thing. But my question would be, how does he plan on taking 35 - 50 million people's guns from them?
I do believe, however, that we will be fighting the Chinese and the Muslims on our own soil, and possibly even the Russians. They want us, and they want us bad!!! The same as 0vomit wants the spot as dictator of the U.S. like a baby wants his mother's milk.

This was the fear in post war Europe and caused the development of the Marshall and Truman plans to keep western Europe free. It is the ultimate communist state.

  • Annette Bear 2012/03/05 14:48:07

Iran (better known as Syria), as Iran covers the majority of the land that was Syria. I see you didn't read the post, and I will add here the entire discourse by Putin - I would pay close attention to the part entitled "The Arab Spring". One quote from above is from that section. Putin talks as though they will go it alone, but they have every intention of joining with Arab forces to accomplish this.

sorry if i missed something....the greater part of the post above discusses a russian/european union more open to commerce and trade.....but you are thinking that Russa/Iran is looking to conquer the West......interesting....thanks
  • Annette Bear 2012/03/06 20:54:01

Not conquer the west - take over Europe as 0vomit is looking to rule America. Putin just got elected "for life", and that with the help of 0vomit. Have you not studied pre WWII history? Germany was at war with Russia, which is why England didn't engage in war with Russia at the time. There is a push, and a very hard push for instituting a NWO - that means worldwide. Mao holds China - Putin now holds Russia and is pushing for all of Europe - and we have a usurper pushing for control of the USA. The fact that all of these dictators are pursuing the same goal is very telling. That is what, I think, you missed. I can't imagine your wanting this to happen to us in America. But 0vomit is certainly pushing for it with both barrels loaded.

Actually Syria and Iran are two different countries completely. Iran is east of Syria. Now on the other hand, Iran was better known as Persia.

My question too, Bear. BHO is really good with "joint" stuff. You know, "decisions", and all kinds of things.....unless something is really, really, popular, then it wasn't a "joint" thing, but he, like Al Gore, did it all by himself.

Russia is feeling strong at the moment because it is the number 1 oil producer in the world and with the high price of oil now, it raking in a fortune. Russia is number 2 in natural gas production with 589 billion cubic meters of production a year, compared to 611 billion cubic meters for the USA and 182 billion cubic meters for the EU. While gas is now inexpensive in the US, it is still more expensive in Europe, so Russia makes a mint selling gas to Europe. Europe is worried about its heavy dependence for gas on Russia. Fortunately, it turns out that Europe also has some shale oil gas formations that with US technology will produce much more gas for Europe, when they get such developments underway. Poland is one country with rich deposits and exploratory work is underway in Germany, though adherents of the precautionary principle for all commercial activities, to the degree that applied to individuals would prevent them from ever crossing a street, are slowing down work in Germany.

Russia has a dwindling, aging population in a huge land mass surrounded by countries much more densely populated. Looking forward, things must look rather grim for that nation. They need to lock in better ties to Europe for security.

One plan is that the Straits of Hormus will be closed, which will force Europe to buy gas solely from Russia and they will then force Europe to join them or else.

We have had both republican and democrat presidents get on national tv and promote the new world order.
Bush sr gave a whole speech promoting the new world order. There are no demo or repubs. They only pretend to differ on the issues to divide the people.
Jfk's last speech was a warning about the coming of the new world order. It's no longer coming, it is here and thing will only continue to get worse.

So why then is everyone dragging their feet, waiting for the worst to happen before they make a move??????
And by that time it will be to late????
This is what happens every damn time. as we (the FBI, and CIA) knew something was up in the 9/11 tragedy but did not want to make a move as to piss off the wrong people, so we let that event happen.
Do we not learn from past mistakes???
And every time it is we the people who suffer the consequences, not the governments!!!
We need a government that protects us "BEFORE" the event, not a government that helps us cope after the tragedy, but that's what we have with the two party system.
Cowards who sit on their diplomacy, rather that protect the citizens.

"...working with its partners to formulate collective decisions under the

That right there said NWO to me before he said it later in his speech. Putin has always been trying to expand his power. If the ESM treaty (some call it the EUSSR) is ratified (I haven't seen that it has yet) the economic downfall of those countries can be accomplished at any time in a matter of days.
